  1. Looks really good, both do. Very nice work!
  2. Absolutely!!!! Sounds like what Tim Allen would say, MORE POWER!!!! AAARRR AAARRR AAARRR!!!
  3. The autocar is in great shape, the interior is really nice. Guess all it needs is a paint job and the motor gone through, its complete. The pete has been sittin in that same spot for about 10 years, its straight but needs restoration
  4. Finally, a visor for the pete. The steps look good man
  5. The white/freightliner is just like the kit except it has a 6v71 and single head lights. The pete is almost like the kit except its stretched, has a turbo cummins and a notched cab with a single stack
  6. Here are a few old trucks waiting for restoration at our main terminal. The owner has a real nice collection of old trucks. Hes a high up board member of the ATHS. I thought this old D4 was cool
  7. That looks really cool. Nice job
  8. Good start. The photo thing can be tricky. The truck look good so does the trailer.
  9. Thats it! Not practical. But way cool!
  10. I think its cool. Its like that guy out of vegas, Davey Deals. He has that car with 2 big blocks, sittin side by side, with 2 blowers on each, yes 4 blowers. People build these to be different, it takes a bunch thought and probably a few cold 1s, but its not practical in any way, but its just gearhead cool. At a car show, it gets lots of attention, which is why im sure it was built, attention.
  11. I guess thats part of the reason i try not to build for anyone. If i do,, its kinda messed up, but i dont do the job that i would do on 1 if it were gonna be on my shelf. I dont just slap it together sittin crooked or my finger prints on glue all over the windshield. I just dont put the care into it like i normally would, like the revell snap pete i built in 6 hours or the this red freightliner COE that ill be posting pics of once i get the BMF done. Back on topic... I am looking to get a 1/16 pete. The kit rims really are what kept me from wanting 1. I could much more detail and better paint work since its a bigger "canvas", if i can find 1 at a decent i may just get it, and wait for these wheels to be available.
  12. Lookin good. Paint looks great
  13. Did i say the steps on the COE freightliner. AARRRRGGhHHH!!! Im building 1 for a buddy. Im glad i ordered resin 1 piece steps. This 5 piece design is for the birds. Hands down these steps are absolutely ridiculous!!!!
  14. Some of us cant afford to buy the equipment thats needed to be able to do it ourselves. There are a few casters on here that will take suggestions and consider doing whats being requested. In some cases if theres enough asking for a product that it sparks a casters interest they will go ahead and cast the parts. There are even some that will 3D print it for you. If you are fortunate enough to be able to cast your own parts, good for you, ill send you a dozen cookies if it makes you feel better. How about you get a few plane tickets and go have a little sit down with the parents of the builders who are still in Jr high or high school, have there parents start casting parts or buy the equipment thats needed. Believe me, i would cast my own parts if i could afford the equipment, i would take suggestions, or requests, if a builder is willing to pay for a 1 off part or start a little side business selling a certain part, id sure welcome there business. If the whole did what your suggesting, there would be no business. Thats why small businesses exist. So, again, i say, if a person doesnt like whats being posted, dont read it. Just because a person or persons dont like it, doesnt mean that everyone else is wrong, or what is being requested or discussed, is wrong. I have simple solution to this "problem" that this thread is about... Forget how to read!
