  6. Timstrucks.com, i think thats his site. Theres a bunch of cool builds on there
  7. Resin or really good with altering the kit kit hood. To make it an extended hood. A standard hood is fairly simple. Tim Alhorn has some directions for that. The 1:2 difference in the 378 and 379 standard is this. The 378 is a 1 piece fiberglass hood, the 379 standard is a multi piece aluminum. Now on the kit hoods, its just creating the seam line on the sides of the hoods, either cutting it up and glueing back together or scribing the line. I think Tims directions show cutting it.
  8. Oh boy, Ben your gonna get me in the dog house with the wife with all these new products. Guess i should remodel the dog house, put an addition on it so i make it my hobby room

  11. Looks really good angel. Very well done
  12. That looks just like Vinnies truck. Awesome work. Ive seen the 1:1 in person, this is a very much like it. Beautiful like the rest of your builds. Your gonna need bigger ledge to display them. I hope the 379 im gonna build comes out lookin as good as this, mine is a 1:1 inspired build.
  13. I really like the tankers ben, but right now id need a layaway program for all your stuff that i want, along with the auslowe stuff, LOL.
  14. Not mention that pesky little thing, i believe they call it work. That really gets in the way of hobby time and the fun stuff.
  15. Sometimes motivation can be a real issue. Sometimes you hit that creative wall and cant decide on something and that brings the project to a screeching halt. That was my problem with my next build. Had the parts but couldnt decide on color, how many axles, duals or super singles.
  16. In our heads anythings possible.
  17. Just scored a snap KW w900 from the lobby with the coupon and a beaded van trailer from my LHS.
  18. Thats a good era for stereo equipment. Heavier the better.
  19. OH MY! Thats gonna bad azz
  20. This thread right here, has finally inspired me to build the aerodyne w900. I have an idea, a direction, for at least 2, ill probably end up buyin 4. The truck looks good, the blue 1 looks really good. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing man!
  21. There ya go man. Modeling is, unfortunately, a hobby on life support. Theres not enough new and young builders. Because of electronics and what not. I just traded some kits for a rare truck in need of some help, from a young modeler. So anyway i can help or inspire the next generation of builders i will as much as i can.
  22. Almost anything from that score you got. But id say a day cab conventional. I decided on the current reissue ca hauler. But still lookin for a r model mack or autocar or road boss
  23. Let me know if you want the front end, hood, bumper, grille, headlights and the cab sides. Right now, I have 3 extra front ends and 2 sets of cab sides. That im not gonna be using. I may be able to save the front springs off my 1st 378 i built. Sorry if it seems im tryin to talk you out of building this.
