Stretched Pete
Petetrucker07 replied to Sam I Am's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
But the government does. The old trucks will live on, but as show trucks or RVs. Id love to have an old truck to pull a 5th wheel camper. -

Thats goona be a bad azz ride. Are you gonna build a little version of it when its done -
I was gonna try too. I have a few extra glue bomb cabs to experiment with. It should very hard since the doors are flat

I dont know you have already or not, but look through the archives, theres a bunch more pics tips and cool stuff

Then id say hes not really a member. Hes visitor. I would qualify a member as 1 who participates in club activities, such as this, a model club, you should show up with 1, or sit there and be quiet. Of course thats just my honest opinion of it.

7 bars with each hood would great too. And the 389 headlights, maybe try to mold with the light area detailed with a clear lense. Maybe do the same with the 386 headlights. P&P has the newer projector pete headlights, but not detailed at all. Its really hard to make them look even close to right.

And western distribution is up there in Denver, they have bitchin equipment. NHRA pro stock driver V. Gaines owns that company. Hes a cool guy, ive talked with him a few times

255x70x22.5 tires would be cool. I have a project that needs quite a few. 48 to be exact but could make do with 24. And 10 hole alcoas to go with them. Oh and stemco hubs. 12 or 24 of those. In 1/24. -
I got mine from Bill Drennen, the last 1 he had. He said he would be casting more around december. P&P has a 388 and 389, with the stuff to update the cab sides and interior to the newer style, rhino on ebay sells updated mirror brackets. I have 2 389s with all the updated stuff. Heres the link... ppvintagekits.com Bill only has email, no site. Drennen.bill@yahoo.com

It wouldnt seem like 24th to 25th would be a big difference. But it is. Everything is just a bit bigger in 24th. The only thing is the rims and tires. You see with the rims and tires i sent you.

The italeri kit is a bit tough the 1st go at it. But it goes together pretty well, and close to how the factory does it. Its more of a skill 2.5. The colors look good on this. Itll be good lookin cabover when you get it done
