That kit isnt modeled after a unibilt. It was kitted years before the pete came out with it. If you feel up to altering the front springs, i can send you a 378 hood

The worst birthday gift Ive ever gotten
Petetrucker07 replied to Wonderbread Kustomz's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
We share the same birthday. That really blows. Especially since its your dad. Well hopefully your birthday gets salvaged. Happy Birthday, hopefully the day ends decent for ya. -
Its funny you mentioned the wheels rolling JT. I never quite understood why they need to roll, at least in my mind. Im building a kit, car, pick up or big truck, to look at. I never had the urge to "play" with it. Maybe i was a weird kid. But if i wanted to play with cars, i played with my hot wheels, even weirder, only the 1s i had duplicates of. I have a decent sized collection of hot wheels. Now back on topic. Every once in awhile i have issues with clear plastic, windows, lights...., but this forum taught me to use elmers glue, if it gets on the plastic, it just peals off. That was the biggest flaw in my earlier builds. The glue on the glass finger prints really made my mediocre builds, look worse. Im hopin the steps on my freightshaker COE go better, those really tried my patience the 1st go at them

Maybe dark spot isnt the right term. Maybe under rated. Tony Martin sounded great, guess the early 90s sabbath, '89 in the case of the song, was over shadowed by the birth of grunge.

My local Kmart and Costco started about a month ago. Pretty soon itll be time for Christmas the year before. If i remember right they started settin out Halloween around the 4th of July. Guess they want a jump on the competition.

I really like that song, even though thats a dark spot in the history of the band

Them old 100 lbs stereos really sound good. The heavier the receiver, the better the sound. My Marantz sounds better than the Onkyo in the house. I have small Nakamichi that weighs around 20 lbs, i was surprised when i picked it up. It needs the audio out fixed, i was told it sounds amazing for a small package. Its a tuner with 1 aux. -

3 mornings a week its Howard Stern, the live show then the after show, the after show is 1 hour 5 days a week. I listen to Blue Collar comedy, the modern hard rock channel, the 80s rock channel, monday afternoon they have Eddie Trunk on live. The 80s metal channel, Classic Rewind, different types of cassette era music, and the 90s rock channel. I dont know what id do without my satellite radio in the truck, theres a lot "empty" air in the middle of nowhere. -

Crutchfields was like Playboy to you then. LOL. I recently picked up a set of Cerwin Vega AT-8s for a steal, just need refoaming, the kit is only 30 bucks. Those will sound nice in the garage when workin on the car and patio when BBQing. Ive got an old "100 lbs" Marantz 4270 for the garage -

When im in my car or the big truck, i listen to sirius/xm, or my iphone. I havent listened to terestial radio in 10 years. I cant imagine how much of an hour is commercials, it was too much 10 years ago, its probably out of control now, just a guess. -

I have a real nice Onkyo surround system with 15" Cerwin Vega floor speakers for "listening" to music. I have cds but i input them into itunes. I just hook up the ol' iphone to my system when im home and shake the neighbors windows. -
