Man this looks good. I really like when you add your tool boxes to your builds, it really adds that something cool to it. Can't wait to see this done as a complete unit.

I've got 3 or 4 complete sets from the snappers.

My plan is to finish more than I start. I've got quite a few unfinished from last year. I've only started 3 so far and finished 1. So I guess I'm not going as planned so far.

Nobody asked your opinion My Meyers, again. Here you are again, stirring things up that do not concern or that your involved in. The B.R.B.O. isn't for you to worry about, not for you understand. It my concept, my deal and my concern. The title is for me to keep track of the entrants in my CBP. And, to those involved in this B.R.B.O., it is common knowledge. If you want to put up some your money on this deal, since 100% of it is coming out of my pocket, then I'll take any ideas you may have. But until then, don't worry about, same goes for anyone else that doesn't get it, or has an opinion on it. If I'm being an a--hole about this, oh well. I wake up that way, so it's nothing new to me. There's nothing wrong with the current format of the forum. This is how its been for a long time, so I doubt it'll change. I'm sure Admin will agree. I agree with what Sean said, so make it a X4 for me.

There's really only one way to do the removable body, your gonna need some sort of sub frame, like my truck I'm sittin in right now. Make the dump body it's own unit, that sits on top of the frame rails. It doesn't need to be tall. The sub frame on my truck is 4x4 square tubing, then has a mounting plate at the rear of the frame rails. The ram, hinges and what not are on the sub frame. We can remove and install these bodies in a couple hours. I'll get some pics when I get to the hotel later today.

The poor man 379, is a simple, cheating way of converting these to a 379. All it is, is sanding and massaging the corners of the cab, making them more rounded. It's "cheating" refers to not cutting and widening the cab like a 379 is. The 359 is narrower than the 379. The air intake tubes on a 359 are exposed. A 379 you don't see the tube with the hood shut. Now for filling in things. I fill in the holes that won't be used. I'll be making my own air cleaners, to more resemble a 379 Vortox style.

Sorry for the slow response. Yes your original kit is considered a "snap" kit. This Pete you decided on is an awesome kit. I've built a few. Lookin forward to what you come up with.

Tik toc Tik toc... not much time till DSC. That would be awesome if you got it done for then. But I pushing to get this done for the DSC...

I really hope I can make it out this year. I didn't get to a single show last year.
