  1. For all interested. Tomorrow is the official start to this build off. If you'd like to get in on this: Go to the Truck Stop section and read the rules. Go into the bench section and start your build thread. Title must include B.R.B.O. and a pic of the unbuilt kit or TOTAL restoration. Monthly updates, even just to say no progress but still in. A list of entrants who got the build threads started will posted on February 1st. I'll update the list every month for the missed monthly posts. If you miss a post, your DQ'd. The interstate list entrants is long, over 30. This should be a good CBP.
  2. Some may remember me posting some old tow trucks in this thread, an old needle nose KW and a COE Chevy, 50ish. Well, I was finally able to get a couple shots of this mid to late 50s tow truck.
  3. This is really coming together. Great job on the fender situation. Lookin forward to the next update.
  4. Dude. You've done it again. Another Awesome build. One of these days I'm gonna give that trash bag, Roll Top a try. It looks outstanding. Very nice job on this.
  5. That looks killer. Your doing an amazing job on this. I can't wait to see what you do with the outside.
  6. Usually asphalt jobs are close to the plants or they will setup a plant close to the job. I think the farthest I've seen asphalt go from plant to job is about 40 miles. It does stay hot a long time.
  7. My first truck kit was a 1/32 Snap T600 Hot Wheels transporter. The second truck was an Italeri 377 then a 378.
  8. This is gonna be a great lookin combo. I like the subtle wear on ramp guides. And the best thing of all...your having fun. Keep it goin man.
  9. What a mind trip. This is just.... I don't know. The big concert in the darkness of forever is gonna be one hellavuh show. Another loss of one of the greats in Rock music. His diagnosis, extremely agggresive, no, kidding. Dec 26, learned of it, gone today. R.I.P. Lemmy.......
  10. For the KW they have. The mixer unit may be intact, but who knows.
  11. Your Killin me. That looks outstanding. I mean, the paint rubbed off the lines, come on. I give up.
  12. Stumbled across this pic will lookin for some other stuff. I have no info on this. It looks like a Dodge A100, stretched with 2 Blown Hemis.
  13. I stumbled across this pic. A fat fendered Corvetterado?
  14. I took a look at your Devils Cut. That's how I'm wanting to do the frame. Then that slant chop you put on it, man it looks mean. I've re-thought my exhaust. I think straight off the turbo, Welderup style is more appropriate for this, being a single exhaust anyway.
  15. Man that looks good. I was kickin myself for not gettin in on these, now I'm really kickin. This looks great.
  16. Thanks for the tips Jeff. I pulled out a package of 5/16 Green Sheet channel. I'm gonna use the old style air ride system from the suspension I didn't use on my 352 or maybe the 8 bag from a snap KW parts kit I got. I had planned on a custom floor designed around the trans then find seats that fit in spots. I'm gonna use a snap 359 dash I think, the super detailed post of one got my detailing juices flowin, I think. I'm gonna do a hot rod style front suspension and of course using the Peterbilt axle, it is a Pete after all. I'm lookin forward to this one. It's got me excited.
  17. How bout that. A K123 Aerodyne. A what if build is in order I smell.
  18. Happy Birthday Pat!
  19. Another amazing build John. The paint work is outstanding.
  20. Thanks. I've been wanting to do this setup for awhile now. Just haven't had the extra parts till now.
  21. Thanks Gino. I've been rethinking the grimy part. But this will not be my normal big shiny show truck.
  22. This caught my attention. Have we seen this build hiding in the shadows?
  23. Ha! This will look great when you get it done. What's done so far looks great.
