  1. That's just perfect! Another screw up from these model companies. In a rush to get these out, and no quality personnel in sight. Guess I know what im doin as soon as these show up at my door.
  2. I'd be in at least a set or 2 of those.
  3. Finally got confirmation my preordered kits have been shipped.
  4. Went to the B and N yesterday and picked up the last copy of #201 they had.
  5. Yep, I agree. A great kit. My first venture with it was the 3 in 1 Lindberg kit. I need to try to get another 1 or 3. Bring back some memories.
  6. So much for "hopefully next week".... I'm loosing my patience.
  7. Gotta love them shackled up early hot rods. Looks great.
  8. The truck is newer, 90s. I believe the cab is a little wider, the grille is totally different (which may also make the can look wider), I also believe the cab sits a little lower. This truck is obviously stretched, it's lowered and the visor is mean, I'd like to make one for my next custom Freightshaker cabover.
  9. Wish I could say the same for my 4. "Hopefully this week", right?
  10. Boy.....life sure can get in the way of the hobbies we love. All I got done on this, this weekend....got it down off the shelf. That's it. I'm gonna start bringing my stuff along with me when I go out of town. Seems that's the only free time I get anymore, in a hotel room.
  11. Yeah, I was bit beside myself with that. I don't think I'll be ordering from there again. I did preorder the single drive Freightliner from a different place, so hopefully it goes better from there.
  12. I got a short response. Hopefully next week. That's what the response said.
  13. The Hat is a staple here in So Cal. We don't have the places like in New York, Chicago, Pittsburg and othets. One I thing I wish we would get out here are REAL Po'Boy sandwiches...with the chicken strips, french fries, mozzarella sticks, coleslaw, mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, a couple meatballs, ranch, pastrami...maybe a chocolate chip cookie or two. LoL.
  14. And here is my favorite from Jack in the Box...the Chicken Tater Melt, Munchie Box.
  15. When I'm down their way, The Hat. They have THE best pastrami sandwiches around. The chili cheese and pastrami fries are to die for.
  16. I sent an email this morning, no word back yet.
  17. Thanks for comments guys. The glass isn't tinted, yet. It's low-e saftey glass, it does have a greenish tint to it though. No wing windows. There is A LOT of window on this truck. I've seen MANY wing window posts chrome. So your good to go on that. Or a piece of foil too.
  18. After a little digging I found the thread, WOW, November since I've done anything to it. I've gotten this build out, hope to get something done.
  19. Looks good man. Remember to remove the tree around the sleeper step.
  20. I re-polished the aluminum already. The boss has the light panels for under the doors, just gotta put them on. Opened the door one monday morning and the switches had chrome covers on them. The yesterday the boss handed me some chrome covers for hood latches. The lights on the boxes have chrome bezels now. We're trying to get this aero truck lookin cool, without going overboard. Soon, I'm gonna work on designing a drop visor for this. All the ones that are available right now don't look right. Looks like they belong on a different truck, so I'll make one.
  21. Saw this in Fresno this week. Early 90s Freightliner cabover.
  22. Gettin kinda irratated. No word on my preorder. Guess I need to contact them.
  23. Very cool.
  24. I think this is the thread in question. The pics aren't available anymore. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/108765-revell-peterbilt-359-engine/
