  1. Ladders aren't cool...LOL. Typically they use the steps to get in the cab to get up on the deck. Then use the squeeze to get them down. And im sure your gonna ask, here's what a squeeze is.
  2. Oh boy. I smell a case of each finding their way into my stash
  3. Negative camber Harry. And im right there with ya. Not my type, but we'll built. Paint work looks great, detailing is nice. Very nicely built car.
  4. Yes Harry, but, the pogo sticks purpose is to keep the lines off the deck plate. Since there are other options to keep the lines off the deck, the pogo stick is not always used. It is still used by some. In my opinion, it's not visually appealing, it's an eye sore. I know it's a work truck, and the way something looks isn't crucial. Some companies choose to run the lines out the rear of the frame and let them hang, some use the long spring like mentioned before and some use the pogo.
  5. No. The pogo stick is just one of them options that isn't specific to any one truck. It's one of them things that also depends on the application. It does seem like they were used more 60s and 70s. Guess that's most of the truck kits have them.
  6. Im not a big book guy, but like Dean Koontz. I've read a couple of his books and I enjoyed them.
  7. Not always Harry. All that is required is the hoses and electrical lines not rub the deck plate. I've driven trucks where there was a long spring that went from a high mounted grab handle with a clamp on the lines. I've also driven a few where they were ran underneath and just hung there.
  8. John Berry passed away at the age of 52.
  9. Some go to the dairies. Some take them to ranches and some take it hay press facilities.
  10. The answer to... Do the headache/cab protection go all the way across the back?....yes. And a couple more old school pics.
  11. Here ya go Michael. Let me know if you want more. There are a few that can be built from kits that are readily available.
  12. Give me till this evening. I'll hook this thread up with truck and trailers.
  13. Thanks guys. It sure makes a guy feel good rollin in a nice truck, makin money. Here a video, the closest I can fund to how the truck im driving sounds. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3iC0UwE9K0
  14. Hauled the first load yesterday. It was nice, very nice to drive a a Pete again. Then drive one with that loud CAT turbo whistle, some of you know what im talkin about. Then the growl from those straight 7s, for a truck nut, it's ALMOST better than the girlie bar.
  15. Im not a fan of the Beetles, neither were my parents. I understand they were big, people liked them, they're just not my cup of tea. Zeppelin is a bit played out for me. Im not all that crazy about Floyd. Of the "big 4" from Britain, I understand they were very popular, still are, but I prefer the Stones over the others.
  16. In the OP, Harry said to try and exclude the big 4... Stones, Beetles, Floyd and Zeppelin.

  18. Im with JT. I've been wanting to build a mobile home truck. This is a nice build. Im gonna use this for some reference ideas.
  19. Very nice, clean build. I like the modest stretch to the kit frame, the bigger tanks, and the paint/graphics look great, well done.
  20. The 80s weren't very exciting, especially the early 80s. I was born in 82, I think I'd go with a chrome BMX. I guess if had to choose, it would be a 3/4 ton Suburban, 4 wheel drive.
