Car kit...the new Revell 29. Haven't built very many car kits in my time, but I really like this kit. Truck kit... the Pete and KW snappers. This is by far, the build I'm proudest of. Not perfect, it has flaws, but it was my first build in 10 years. It came out just how I wanted.

The series I was asking about was the California Customs, not Dreams. They were from the early 90s, florescent colors.

Does anyone remember the California Dreams series, I think that's what they were called.

I've been collecting Hot Wheels since they started the "Series". I still try to collect the entire series of cars. I also buy the ones that catch my eye. The ones I've been lookin for, hard, are the Final Run cars. The molds they're no longer gonna have. The last series i completed was the Fast and Furious series. I have a couple thousand in my collection, majority of which are in the package, a few that I played with as a kid, that I didn't smash with a hammer to make it look like it was in an accident.

No doubt about it. Whether or not your a fan of his, you gotta give him credit for being a great creative mind, performer and song writer. I think the reason it's hard to find his music on youtube or Pandora, is related to the legal issues he had with Warner Bros. back in the day. WB owned the brand "Prince", everything, the name, licensing, songs, everything. That's why he changed his name to the symbol (I believe it's supposed to stand for love). Then, once the contract ran out, he got some things, like the name, back. But I could be wrong.

Yep, I agree. At least inch to inch and a half. It would look much better some room between the sleeper and drives.

I agree. She OD'd on sleeping pills a few years ago, had a problem with alcoholism, and like you said the possibility of steroids. She definitely had demons.

Saw this 367 drill rig on a delivery yesterday. The workers said it's brand new. It only has 170 hours on it.

Another celebrity has died this week. Cause of death hasn't been revealed, but she was on anxiety and sleep deprevation pills. Kinda sounds like the same thing that Heath Ledger died from.

I hear all sorts of accents being a truck driver. I've come across a few guys that sound just like Boomhauer from King of the Hill. "That dang oh, mmmm thing boy, get ryt out in there and shhhoooom maaaann!" California has all sorts of accents too. You got the valley girl, like Fer sheer. Then you got the surfer thing, like totally bro. The you got the central valley that sounds a lot like the south. Oh, don't forget the ghetto, yo.

Doris Roberts passed away today, she was 90. Very funny lady. Loved her in, Everybody Loves Raymond.

Outstanding, incredible, awesome, fantastic.....uuuummmmmm?!?!.....supersuperduper work man. I would really like to see what you'd do to a big truck. I can't even imagine the detail you'd do it with all the room there is.

Just slap a set dull aluminum fenders over the tires, make a smooth, flat black deck plate for it and let it be. Sorta like this.

That is lookin really good Mike. I really wish I can get my hands on one of them hoods. I have a donor kit waiting impatiently in my stash, it keeps lookin at me when I get into my stash.

I Googled the company. I can only find Freightliners, the cabs are different. But, they have some big fuel trucks.

Good luck Jim. I'd be feeling the way as you. I get nervous just going on for a physical. I understand your feelings. You'll be fine, and back doing the fun things in no time.

I would really like to get a G8 GT. I've heard it's almost a 4 door GTO. I've heard a few with aftermarket exhaust, they sound awesome.
