  1. When I was putting that show truck together, the owner made the suggestion to use those since they come in chrome. I looked at him and said you bumped your head. The smooth, rolled edge aluminum painted to match are what's getting put on. Now if I were building a roll off like this, absolutely, diamond plate, either painted steel or polished aluminum.
  2. I think the auto manufactures are trying on their own to do that. Why do we need so much technology on our cars. My dad thought power windows and door locks were too much. I know he'd be shaking his head at all this back up protection systems. I know I am. If you can't back out of your drive way and pay attention to what your doing, you shouldn't be driving. Same with the auto parallel parking systems, if you can't park it, how did you get your license? You shouldn't be on the road, your a hazard. Sorry to hijack, I'll get off my box. For now, our two Sonics still have roller waitresses and waiters. For how much longer, who knows.
  3. Dennis, those fenders will look perfect on this. All the roll offs out here either have that style of fender or the supposed indestructible plastic. I'm lookin forward to the next update.
  4. That orange looks awesome. This is gonna be a very nice car. I really like prostreet grocery getters.
  5. Boy, that would be nice. A 67 to 72 Chevy pick up.
  6. You could by a Z06 kit. It's a LS1. I did that swap on a 56 Bel Air. Sadly that build met the fate of a shelf fall.
  7. The tall skinny cans of Krylon chrome. But, with any of these spray chromes, it needs weeks of cure time.
  8. Can't wait to build mine, as soon as they get here. This looks great. You did a very nice job on it. I'm not a Ford guy, but can appreciate quality of kit and the effort someone put into it. Well done.
  9. I've narrowed my mine down to two. Either a 70 1/2 Camaro or 69 Yenko Nova.
  10. That is a beast. Lookin forward to seeing what you come up with for this.
  11. On mine, I was gonna take about 1/8 inch out of the middle. But I switched the rims and tires out for Moebius and didn't have to cut anything.
  12. Agreed, totally. Hey Round2, you listenin!
  13. This is just odd. But I guess that's what makes it kinda cool.
  14. A K100 is still not in my stash. I can't find one for decent price.
  15. Oh man. I have a W900 cab I'll trade ya for that K100 cab. That would be almost murder to do that to that cab. But at any rate, that is definitely different and would a cool project.
  16. It's startin to look like a truck man. Your doin a fine job on this. Keep it up.
  17. Slumpbuster? You did a hellavuh job on this. Very nicely done.
  18. That looks great Kurt. This gonna be a very nice trailer. Tarp looks spot on.
  19. Looks great man. I like the blue ti Ted glass. Very well executed. It's got me thinkin about building another Ca Hauler. I like it. Well done.
  20. Looks great man. Your attention to detail is out of control, in good way. I don't know if you've answered this before or not. But, how do you clean up the joints? I'm trying to gather some info so I can prepare for the build off road truck build I have in mind.
  21. I'd almost forget the future if that's what happened. I'd wet sand and polish the paint.
  22. Very interesting and different. That's a pretty cool build. Nicely done.
