  1. Chuck, I’m not sure what you’re better at, the story telling or building models, actually you’re very talented in both.
  2. I’m with ya on that ,my friend
  3. Kaci, do you sleep? lol. I think I read you recently retired, I did the same thing about 12 years ago when I retired. I’m still building today, although not as many , age tends to creep up on you. it’s a wonderful feeling knowing you can enjoy your hobby without work getting in the way. Model on my friend!!
  4. Mines 50 miles away, last time I was there I bought two cases
  5. Like I said before Kaci, time to head on over to IKEA , 🤪🤪
  6. Kaci, you seem to have a real knack for painting, I’m assuming you use Tamiya paint. In my book as far as rattle can paint goes, it’s second to none
  7. Great job, I love the blue, it’s my favorite color, my build collection has a very disproportionate amount of various blues , my granddaughter always says when I start a new build, “ hey Papa is this one gonna be blue “?
  8. Wow, and the color is great!
  9. I looked on Amazon and found this. It appears to be cotton with a paper backing that peels off after printing. You guys got my wheels turning again. I will be looking into this idea. I’m always looking for something different to do with seats and door panels to make them look more realistic
  10. I’ve been around here for about 11 years, you guys have done a fantastic job providing this great source of abundant information for our wonderful hobby.l know it takes a lot of effort to make it function properly. I’m also in favor of some type of pay feature . I also like the idea of a Marketplace. I’m sure any changes you make will be met with some criticism but that’s to be expected.
  11. Like Dave said , IKEA has pretty good cases, I have seven of them 🤪, they’re about $85 , but only have three shelves. I have my local hardware store cut three extra shelves at about $7 each. I make my own brackets from thumb screws. So for a little over $100 I get a pretty decent case that will hold about 18 models. Works for me.
  12. Great build, I especially like the pinstripes
  13. Build, build , build. That’s what kits were designed for IMHO
  14. Very nice, luv me some MoPars 😎
  15. WOW, some absolutely beautiful cars here, thanks for sharing!
  16. I just love seeing this kinda stuff, from days gone by
  17. I love seeing these preserved gems from the early days , thanks for sharing
  18. Peter , give Jerry a break, he was just asking a question, I don’t think your comment was necessary
  19. Wow beautiful build. I love the color
  20. Steve, could I respectfully ask about the wire you used in the example of the wiring harness, what size or what type it is ? Again I’m very impressed with your work, its builders like you that cause me to strive to become a better builder Ray
  21. Thanks for all the great ideas guys. I have really gotten into engine bay detail lately. I really like your idea of sanding down the firewall and adding real wire , thanks for that Steven. They were all great ideas, you guys are my go to “research center “ lol. I usually don’t post much, but I’m here every day lurking and learning. Ray
