No matter what color, that is one mean, lean and beautiful machine, I mean model. Very nicely done Slush!
  4. Great imagineering and execution of scratch building art! You have my attention.
  5. You've made a Hot Rod from a Midget kit, NICE!

    Thanks for notis'n!
  7. TASTY
  8. Test fit the body often, you'll find it set way to high. I usually lower the top of the cage at least 1/8", just depends. The instructions can be vague, but test fitting will take care of it also. I like to change up the hood also, but the kit one will work. Here is a link to one I did with a Gremlin body, http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w184/fredjames_2007/Tobias%20Gremlin/
  9. It's a nice kit but has it's flaws too. Looks like you like to paint, I kinda liked it just blue. Stick with it, you find your MoJo!
  10. I thought about being 16 again, then realized I could not servive that twice!

Nice clean build and your paint looks smooth. Except for the modern motor, I like what I see.
  14. I know what you mean about researching short trackers on the web, the more you look the more confusing it can get! You've done an outstanding job making this look right, nice work all around.

  16. What a nice clean build, fine paint, great detail and not overly done.

Thank you all, your kindness goes a long way.
  18. You can get great results with Tamiya clear colors and different base colors. And this T shows how good they look! Very nice build BK, it's got that look.

Thank you kindly. I had to glue the hood to keep things aligned properly, so I guess it might be a curbside. The paint is Tamiya Drk Blue Metalic. And the top is a cut down AMT 36 Ford piece.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it, here is the pan, made from styrene sheet. And paint with Alcad Whit Aluminium. And resin louver decals found in the model rail road section of my LHS.

With a full belly pan. I built this last year but decided it needed a top. I added a light salt wash to the tires also. Really didn't want to go to far with the weathering. Just the appearance of a Hot Rod taken to Bonneville as a run about. Link to build: http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w184/fredjames_2007/Belly%20Pan%20Roadster/
