  1. Great build, you don't see many of these and yours is spot on!
  2. Outstanding build, nice job!
  3. First time in four yr, won't be going.
  4. This is what I came up with for the lights. Boxed in the openings with styrene and robbed the lights from a Revell Tweety Pie kit. The clear light covers really blur the lights but it looks a lot better than the decals. Also pictured are the wheels I'll be using. I might try to deepen one pair for the rear wheels. Maybe?
  5. Sweet and Smooth!
  6. This is the closet I know of. I believe he is not casting right now though. FRW has a similar body but alas, he is not taking orders either! http://public.fotki....1005.html#media This is what I did with Fred's...
  7. Well done, low and clean, just the way I like'em. What is the radi hose made from?
  8. Thanks guys. I will be using the kit suppied decals, they are made be Cartograf, and I'm told they are very nice. I'll be interested t see how I actual do the quad (Cibie) lights as well! I purchased a set of Minilites in resin from febay. I'm trying different tire combos and will show those later. My goal is to make a respectable resemblance of the 1:1 race car. Thanks again for the interest. This forum inspires me to do the best I can do.
  9. This is a project I have been wanting to do for some time. Like so many builds, the more you research the more confusing and blurred the big picture becomes. With that in mind, this is not a replica, it will be my rendition of John Greenwood's Corvette. Here is some of the reference I will use. http://www.docrebuil...r-web/gw01.html http://www.corvetteb...nterey-auction/ http://www.racingspo...1-03-20-048.jp I started with Revell kit, using a set of extra fender flares from one kit for the front fenders. I hope to make a set of the fixed head lights and I have raised the wiper door as seen on the racer. Here is what I have so far....
  10. Well done.
  11. I am starting this build and was wondering if you still have these pictures? Thanks, J2
  12. Great model, nicely done details.
  13. I like the idea of splitting them up, feels more like a model show. Entries for non-competition and competition.
  14. Outstanding Hot Rod! You real pulled it all together on this. Turned out great.
  15. Coming along nicely. I did the same with my dash, to late to relocate. But maybe I'll take a second look.
  16. It is small, but so were the 1:1's. Great kit, fantastic fit and real nice finished product. Treat the tiny pieces like PE and use tape, test fitting helps also.

    67' Chevelle

It's a little hard to see with the lighting you had, but looks like a nice build. Where are the rims from?
