  1. I've been working on the frame and this engine. TS-60 Pearl Green, Parts by Park pulleys, black tape for the belts, Stacks from FRW and some BMF. I wanted to try something different so I used these Webber carbs I had in the PB. Not sure how authentic, but I like the way it looks. Thanks for looking.

That is a nice one. Mold lines are a modelers worst enemy!
  3. Well done!
  4. Thanks for the kind words everyone!
  5. "Tanks" alot for rear end'n me, man !
  6. Thanks, they are from that kit and the engine also, just added the blower.
  7. I like it! It's got all the right stuff. Nice to have a survivor in your collection.
  8. Just a couple of other pix.... Thanks for the interest.
  9. "I ..... just don......... Well....... Six pages of.....uhhhh............hmmmmmmmmmm?" Never mind!
  10. This looks real nice. It's got the look for sure.
  11. So as not to lose focus on the Show Truck, I made a few subtle changes to the body and worked up the suspension. Bagged rear axle from a Revell 32 and in what would call a "Roth" front end I built up some coil spring perches. I'm thinking about some form of torch arms also. Next I'll see if the Ardun heads are going to fit!
  12. "Clean Build" in scale modeling, to me is a build that displays a well thought out and executed idea. Exhibiting the skill and craftsmanship to represent what could be possible in 1:1. It must flow and have good fit and finish. It does not have to be clean as in no rust or dirt. Just like many of our model subjects the term "Clean" comes from 1:1 car shows, defining a well built and eye pleasing automobile. My2 cents.
  13. Welcome and well done!
  14. Thanks Peter, I was lucky to find that grill on feebay!
  15. Thank you kindly!
  16. Aside from some minor touch up this one is complete. AMT repop, wheels and tires from Revell. Parts box interior, Ford 302 from Revell. Tamiya clear red over bright red and silver with a little gold fade. Thanks for lookng, J2
  17. Thanks Brad, the top coat is Tamiya clear red #TS-74. The base colors are TS-49 Bright red on the upper body and then gold faded for a belt line then silver on the sides. Should sparkle pretty good in the sun! Completed 2/3/12, thanks for looking, J2
  18. Thanks guys. I think I was to late to lean the posts back. But I have finished roughing the roof in. I Z'd the frame and have things lined up pretty well. I found some better wheel and tires for the rear and will get back to it after the 33 Willy's is wrapped up.
  19. Thanks guys, buffing paint and working on the chassis right now. Got the PH grill on. Hope to finish soon.
  20. Very nice Bernard, This looks great, the stance is perfect, the detail is superb and the subtle weathering is just right. Should be a show stopper.

Well done, nice stance and ya gotta love those wheels.
  22. Thanks BK, Ira. Fresh paint and ready for some final assembly.... Some more chassis work needed and some polish after the body cures for a while.
  23. I have been thinking, I am aloud to once in awhile. How about Top-less?
  24. Normally, you need top level clearance to enter, but just the once, I'll let you in... I know it's Sunday, but this was taken Saturday.
