  1. For first glue kit, your doing a great job. Looks like you have the body sorted out. Just take your time and you'll be happy with it. Never rush a paint job!
  2. Nice details, clean building, I'll be following this one.
  3. Thanks guys, the first couple of pix were the results of a thought I had about a show style truck. I knew it would morf into something else. I think I'm on the right track now. I have a lot of sanding ahead of me!
  4. Thanks Jim, I've got a lot of body work to do!
  5. Interesting project, I always enjoy your work, John. Will you be painting like the 1:1?
  6. Another update. Chassis is done except for a battery , keep in mind the good side is down, I'm not concerned with things that won't be seen. Reshaping and adding to the body, trying to keep things flowing and lined up properly! Hope to start the interior next week some time.
  7. Just a quick test fit...
  8. It is looking good, I'm glad to hear your redoing the fenders, I know you'll get'em right. Your doing a great job.
  9. Thanks guys, obviously green will be part of the color scheme, I have played with the fenders some but most likely will be fenderless. I plan on finishing the chassis next while working on the body. Thanks again, J2
  10. I've been working on the frame and this engine. TS-60 Pearl Green, Parts by Park pulleys, black tape for the belts, Stacks from FRW and some BMF. I wanted to try something different so I used these Webber carbs I had in the PB. Not sure how authentic, but I like the way it looks. Thanks for looking.

    32 Ford Hiboy

That is a nice one. Mold lines are a modelers worst enemy!

  13. Thanks for the kind words everyone!
  14. "Tanks" alot for rear end'n me, man !
  15. Thanks, they are from that kit and the engine also, just added the blower.
  16. I like it! It's got all the right stuff. Nice to have a survivor in your collection.
  17. Just a couple of other pix.... Thanks for the interest.
  18. "I ..... just don......... Well....... Six pages of.....uhhhh............hmmmmmmmmmm?" Never mind!
  19. This looks real nice. It's got the look for sure.
  20. So as not to lose focus on the Show Truck, I made a few subtle changes to the body and worked up the suspension. Bagged rear axle from a Revell 32 and in what would call a "Roth" front end I built up some coil spring perches. I'm thinking about some form of torch arms also. Next I'll see if the Ardun heads are going to fit!
  21. "Clean Build" in scale modeling, to me is a build that displays a well thought out and executed idea. Exhibiting the skill and craftsmanship to represent what could be possible in 1:1. It must flow and have good fit and finish. It does not have to be clean as in no rust or dirt. Just like many of our model subjects the term "Clean" comes from 1:1 car shows, defining a well built and eye pleasing automobile. My2 cents.
  22. Welcome and well done!
  23. Thanks Peter, I was lucky to find that grill on feebay!
  24. Thank you kindly!
