  1. I managed to find a PH grill from "The Model Car Garage" So I think that problem is solved. I got the base colors on the body and will attempt to finish that soon. The engine is ready to install and the interior is mostly finished. Just some T-up.
  2. Outstanding build and WIP. Thank you for sharing. I can only guess at how many guys are buying Evergreen rod right know!
  3. That chassis is looking clean and the section is well done. I to have not yet enjoyed opening the doors, but do like it when it's complete. Are you sharing that can of cheese with the shop dog or do you have your own!
  4. Looks real nice, Ira. Did you have any trouble applying the flame decals? There are a lot of curves right there!
  5. Looks like a clean build. The lighting and dark paint make it hard to see.

    68 Camaro.

Very fine job, detailed and clean. It's a great looking model.
  7. Interesting build. Thanks for sharing the WIP.
  8. Here is the shortened radi shell. And this is how it is looking... Thanks for looking, J2
  9. Some design progress on the body. I added some flat sides just in front of the rear wheels, then recreated the mold line. Here is where I cut for the top. Rather than fitting two pieces at once and hoping they line up, I decided to glue the top at the rear only. Next I'll slice the roof from side to side, then add some styrene and reattach the A pillars.
  10. I'm a one %'r and planning on it.
  11. Com'n along nicely, Ira. I need to get back to the bench....
  12. MORE!
  13. How about something like this?
  14. Thanks again guys. I'm trying to keep a 60's theme going, so I'll have to do some digg'n on the engine.
  15. Thanks guys. It is the Revell 37 Ford PU and an AMT 62 T-Bird. I'm going with a Tony Nancy front axle and rear wheels but a pair of Garlit's dragster front wheels. Most likely fenderless and some crazy exhaust at the lower hood opening.
  16. Nice paint, some plug wires and a little black wash always helps the look, but it looks good already.
  17. Still imagineering... It is closer to what I wanted now, still working on the look.
  18. Great look'n Rator. I like the floorboard, nice touch.
  19. Well done by all!
  20. Just getting things going while the 33 is drying. This is when I started... Thanks you for looking, J2 This is where I'm at with it after some changes...
  21. I always enjoy your builds, and this one is no exception. Nice example of salt engineering.
