  1. Not much room in the back of mine either with the roll bar and divider in place. Of course I could move the divider closer to the seats..
  2. Lovely.
  3. I bought some Duplicolor Acrylic clear and tried it on the back panel It seems to be behaving so far.
  4. I would use Tamyia clear if I had some. I guess I'll have to order a few cans. I have flat clear and pearl clear but not straight clear.
  5. Body is in the shop being prepped for clearcoat. About the clearcoat, has anyone ever sprayed Pledge floor polish? I find it is still the best clear. If so, what would you clean the airbrush with?
  6. Decided to go with a snorkel. i realize it may not be absolutly necessary but it does look the part.
  7. Quite possibly.what does it look like?
  8. Thanks Lee. that is what I wanted to know. Now I'll have to wait until I find an Olds. Of course there is the one by B-N-L.
  9. Because I was only aware of the '66 W30 400. What are they? And I don't want to buy a kit just for the engine.
  10. I think the W43 was intended to compete with Ford's SOHC 427 and as far as I know the Twin cam one was purely experimental. there are several articles on the web about them.
  11. A few years ago i built the W43. Can't remember what I used as a base. Now I'd like to try the OW-43. I have seral BBC in the junkpile but no Olds 455. Would the BBC make a decent base?
  12. There are some nice ones here too. https://www.shapeways.com/product/XF9UXCT43/ford-427-1-25-cj-w-dual-4bbl?optionId=64740796
  13. Here's mine, done as a 406
  14. The only one I have seen is in the'64 Dodge 330. Doesn't mean there aren't others.
  15. I don't think they are protected. But I'm told they drill where they hear insects munching, so John might have had some insects in his siding. Happened to a friend of mine where they drilled though cedar siding on his cottage and pulled out some insulation. He found tufts of fiberglass wool poking out here and there ewhen he went to his cottage one spring.
  16. Hey Ron this is the guy. Listen to his tap recording on the lower right, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pileated_woodpecker
  17. Seen on my snowshoe walk this afternoon. Woody is obviously still at it despite his sizeable royalties from Thrush Mufflers.
  18. You are right about quality. Nice to see the unused Twin-H engine used somewhere else. I am totally jealous of the tractor. Mine looks wimpy compared to this.
  19. Mine will be a Paystar 500 with crane similar to the one in the photo. I haven't decided on the engine yet. The KFS crane was started for the L700 a while back. We decided it was too big so I had built the Effer instead. Does it still qualify?
  20. You nailed it.
  21. What a beauty!
