  1. I am blown away by the amount of cars I am not aware of.
  2. I used an acrylic craft paint made by Americana, bought at Michaels. The color is “dolphin”, number DA537.
  3. I’ve never seen or heard of one and I’ve read thousands of car mags. Go figure.
  4. The suitcases and medikit are from Shapeways. They are supposed to be 1/24 but are closer to 1/20. The toolbox is from the parts bin.
  5. So there it is until such time as we get the cue to post the "good" pictures. On to the Vannnonball.

  8. Nice to see I am not the only one like that. Love your work. First class. I may pirate/steal/copy some ideas when I do mine.
  9. What a beauty!
  10. Repainted the rear panel and cleared the car with Gunze Sangyo Aqueous clear. Didn't want to chance the Duplicolor on the Tamyia paint again. I'll use it only on Duplicolor. Motor is ready
  11. Removed the rear mudguard and added smaller ones. Kept the front ones. Working on ratchet straps for the roof rack. Forgive the blur, I think my lens is greasy.
  12. like he said.

  14. Do you have drawings of a real one to do this? Or is it from memory from having built or worked with them? Also are the deck bolt heads inset meng nuts or are they drawn? Whatever, this is most impressive.
  15. I used TS-14 and it wasn't very shiny. Maybe i should have given it another coat. as I use TS-14 before Alclad and I get a nice gloss.
  16. Same primer, same paint, same clear. Why does paint hate me so?
  17. On page six. but I have seem the plain flaps. I might remove and redo, they wouldn't look so silly.
  18. Stephen, it is cheaper to ship from England to Canada than it is from the US. So From England to US should be good too.
  19. X2. I try to keep only the text and highlight what I'm replying to. To each his own I guess.
  20. I thought so as well, however the examples given show a full encirclement.
  21. The installation of the snorkel is done. And a preview until I take the good photos. With the cars narrow track, the mudflaps look ridiculous but they are compulsory.
  22. I'm having this one with Chrome occasionally, but I'm getting a black bar across the top with Safari on the iPad and I have to log in all the time.
  23. Not much room in the back of mine either with the roll bar and divider in place. Of course I could move the divider closer to the seats..
