Right on the tail of Rob's comment above, I bring you my first mod, a 3" lift achieved by adding spacers. everything is in the same location except 3" lower. just in case I don't see that deep rut...

The seller calls it urethane resin. In his pictures, there is no mottling. It is quite heavy, so some sort of resin.

A Maybach HL230 V12 came in the mail today.

Here is my entry, a 1964 Dodge 330. Chosen because it is a 2 door sedan, therefore quite rigid and because they are renowned for their toughness. It will sport the following: Slant 6 + four speed manual Chief Joseph off-road tires on steel wheels. No back seat for storage of suitcases, etc. Roof rack, skid plate and some off-road items, mainly grille bars and big lights. Posibly a snorkel air intake to stay above road debris in traffic and possible water fording.
