  1. Marked up the base plate , centered everything and added the guide tracks.
  2. Cummins NTC 475 ;L6 twin turbo diesel, 855 cu.in/ 475 hp.
  3. Dyno is taking shape as well as the cradle. The engine that will be mounted on/in it is ready, Playing with height adjustments.
  4. Computers, books and a first aid cabinet. Reasonable about $6 each until you add ridiculous shipping $20 which brings it up to $47, which turns into $63 CAD.
  5. Signs are reduced photographs, covered with clear tape and glued to thick cardboard or thin styrene with the edges blackened to give dimension. Technique borrowed from member Crazy Richard.

  7. You caught the "mood" in those photos. I am assuming that is a Rolls engine. And what is in the crate? Furniture, a small car? And I couldn't resist using that kettle either.

  11. The Dyno body is the cap of a laundry detergent jug. Its spout will make a nice diffuser vent for something.

  22. I truly agree with this. I do that with my woodworking too. I use a lot of recycled, salvaged wood. For example this mahogany chest was made with old door jambs.
