  1. Added a stripe to the wall, some diplomas, baseboards, playing around with location of stuff.
  2. Turns out I have more than I thought although I'm not sure if all of them qualify.
  3. If you look at the photo of the corrugated cardboard I used in the October 24 posting, you will see it was already crushed. So it was both accidental and intentional.
  4. X2 and then some.
  5. Took it out of the garbage can for the time being. It might become an occasional project for when the paint dries.
  6. Craig, I put in on the pull out shelf because it makes it easier to reach in the back, it give it more light for photos and you can shoot from the ends giving different angles.
  7. And a few others I read as well. If I may, here's how I store mine, on a shelf which pulls out of a bookcase.
  8. Sure, because I'd really like to learn the main weathering techniques. There's some great stuff done that while I'll never duplicate, I might at least emulate.
  9. No sweat, all in good fun.
  10. Gary, it wasn't Shapeways, it was eBay. Looks like it was part of a kit. Banana seat, skateboard and a roll.
  11. It was part of one of Fujimi garage sets. I also bought one from Shapeways. It isn't built yet. I can look it up for you if you want.
  12. You're right Dave. it sure looks the part.
  13. Yeah, the salt thing didn't work. the rust primer is too light, and so on and so on. And... this might be the clincher , I HATE rubbing, sanding and polishing.
  14. There it is, 35 Chevy with Ford wheels & frame, Nascar rear suspension and wheels and borrowed headllights and windshield.
  15. It turns out there was only one headlight. These driving lights from a big classic will do. Found a windshield in the classics parts bin. Just sitting there loose here.
  16. Tommy, where did you get the Maybach?
  17. Today I received a gift. A scale ruler from our fellow member Mr. Tom Geiger. Thank you sir. The only thing, now I have to get to work.
  18. Pinned the frame to the body so it stayed in place while remaining removable. This has got to be the most contrived suspension in history.
