  1. Working on the test cell double doors. Made a scale image of this door. will try to replicate it with various materials.
  2. Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1a Airfix 1/24 Engine Parts Guns Etc. This was the listing.
  3. Working on observation window. I think I may make the outside frame out of wood. The tile spacers will become feet for the operators' chairs. This pull cord bezel from an old set of blinds will donate some window frames, pins & bushings. Its corrugated sides will become louvers on some electric panel.
  4. Mocking up door locations and added some flooring to the test cell and control area.
  5. And so it begins...or should I say it continues. This gives an idea on how this will be laid out.
  6. In the salvage mood. My wife handed me an old power bar and requested I make a short extension out of the cord and throw the rest away. Well, before anyone throws anything away, one should look inside. there are several usable shapes in there, even neat small light lenses. And the circuit board donated some "tanks".
  7. And...I have decided to go ahead with a dyno room. Gathering info and toying with a layout. Also coming soon.
  8. It has been pointed out to me by a sharp eyed member that my shop doesn't have a valve grinding machine. So I went today and photographed and measured one. Coming soon.
  9. I had tried Bill's method but I was asking foe Super Flow. So when I removed the brand it came up. It is an Easy Run stand. Sent the builder a PM. Thanks everyone.
  10. Turns out my wife has a set of chalks. I would certainly be interested in a tutorial. I love step by step with photos. I have a real problem watching a lot of the videos.
  11. It WILL be a learning curve. I just realized that open doors require sills and jambs. Go figure. I will do the missing trim piece too.
  12. Thanks Scott. I wonder where one buys "bulk"pen springs? We might just discover that it was stored under shelter.
  13. I love it. weathering is spot on.
  14. A while back, a member posted a thread on the construction of what looked like a Super Flow engine test stand. Think I can find it? I did all sorts of searches to no avail yet I'm sure I haven't dreamed this. Does anyone here have a memory that still functions? It looked something like this. Thanks for the help.
  15. Actually I don't need to. I can actually reach into the dio.
  16. Didn't wait until Monday. Now i just realized that since this is a convertible, the interior will be essentally ruined. I am open to hints, suggestions, pointers, tricks how to achieve this.
  17. Assuming it would fit, at 1750 hp.it would really motivate the truck.
  18. Thanks Dann. i had tried several but this looks like it gets good results.
  19. Just build it Steven. Put it on top of the pile.
  20. Mecredes Benz OLM 502, as installed in the Actros. Diesel V8, 15.9L/ 496 hp. From a junk Italeri engine bought on eBay.
