  1. I love those "Thinking outside the box" designs. Well done.
  2. I get it too, but only on my iPad. Not on the confuser.
  3. Great woodgrain. What is "The technique?".
  4. I like it. I like the cutting board too. The sides look like bamboo. What wood is it?
  5. This is where we are 5 days later. I'll give it until Monday then I'll clean it up, sand to even it out (featheredge), then I'll start with the various undercoats.
  6. Love it.
  7. What are the names and the function of the two parts indicated by an arrow?
  8. You will like it here Mr.Walker
  9. The eye doctor made me some fixed focus glasses that are a bit closer than readers, 12 inches instead of 16. They work well.
  10. C’est beau ça Éric. I like it a lot.
  11. Junkers Jumo 213a (I believe). V12, 35L/1750HP. This is a resin piece by our fellow member The Creative Explorer.
  12. Darn, now I'm going to have to build one of those too....
  13. Yes. It was used in the Junkers JU188 and the Focke-Wulf 190 and TA's among others. There were many variations of it made. I believe this is supposed to be a 213a.
  14. FTB is working on a Junkers Jumo engine which they have been commissioned to restore for display. There are a few touch ups left to do as well as deciding whether to install the exhaust system or not. We need to build a suitable display stand also.
  15. X2 Not painful at all. to look at
  16. Beautiful work. And a nice way of showcasing your products. Love it.

    47 Chevy

Love you engine. Which kit is that?
  19. Not sure what I painted it with all those years ago, but it is good! Purple Power wouldn't touch it. I had an old can of Dunk (another degreaser), it wouldn't touch it either. Went and got a jug of Super Clean, looks like it may work.
  20. Alain, how far were you from the building? I've been trying to figure that out by looking at Michael Paul Smith's setup. His look like as much as 100 feet away at times.
  21. X2
  22. Thank you. That Chevy is outstanding. I had envisioned something similar to your Ford with a trim bar shaved showing the holes.
  23. Thank you very much. Back to the drawin' board....er... the purple pond.
