  1. Thanks Erik. I had noticed the lack of a flat spot. That can be made with a file. I think I'll do that. However it is interesting to see that the instructions appear to show the flat spot. Other than that, it looks like it'll do fine. Thanks for the offer, but I think the Shipping would "kill" the deal.

  4. Am I correct in assuming that by combining the 1934 Ford Truck "390" with 406 decals you'd have a plausible 406?
  5. All the bits are together, on to the finishing.
  6. I am contemplating building a big 'ole brute like this. It was the mixer truck so the wheelbase may be long enough to accommodate the sleeper, the crane and possibly a tag axle. What do you guys suggest for a tag axle?

  8. Added the hook to its plate and test fitted the assembly. Working on the bottle jack.

  11. Reduced a photo of the "hook" and pasted it to a sheet of styrene. Fabbed up a few more parts.

  14. Are they stiil active? I know AITM has taken over some of their conversion kits. I sent an email a while back, no response.
  15. Finally got around to removing the "insert" behind the grill to alleviate the "frogeye" look.
  16. Oh boy! I'm really getting senile. I was sure I had posted the stained boards and the paint booth shot but couldn't see them. they were on the 2nd page...duh!
