    Thanks Erik. I had noticed the lack of a flat spot. That can be made with a file. I think I'll do that. However it is interesting to see that the instructions appear to show the flat spot. Other than that, it looks like it'll do fine. Thanks for the offer, but I think the Shipping would "kill" the deal.

    I am contemplating building a big 'ole brute like this. It was the mixer truck so the wheelbase may be long enough to accommodate the sleeper, the crane and possibly a tag axle. What do you guys suggest for a tag axle?

    Reduced a photo of the "hook" and pasted it to a sheet of styrene. Fabbed up a few more parts.

    Finally got around to removing the "insert" behind the grill to alleviate the "frogeye" look.
