  1. Here in all its glue smeared glory. I did reattach the wing glass after these pics.
  2. Friend Terry's Trans Am out in the snow
  3. A few pics bore the body goes on. My friend Terry owned one in the 70s, fortunately without the pinstripes. This is as close as I could get to his from pictures. In under glass now.
  4. Here's me in front of the 1225 which is the model for the engine in Polar Express.
  5. While waiting for decals to complete a project that was supposed to be done today (thanks USPS) I started this one. First pics are engine in chassis
  6. Thanks to all who joined in this discussion. Civil and enlightening. Those 8 lugs are looking really good, now to find what I might have on hand. I have several Pontiacs of early 60s vintage that might have them. This will be a 2021 project, I have a 77 Trans Am to finish for a Christmas present for a friend.
  7. I would like to leave it stock looking. I don't have the Trumpeter kit, but I have a couple that have the 8 lug wheels. Thanks for the suggestions.
  8. Looking for suggestions on wheels for this, no donks please
  9. Mongo is a female. She just looked more like a Mongo than Marvela which is the name they gave her at the shelter. MY girlfriend, her Mom and myself all got torties at the same shelter on the same day. If I ever find the guy who kicked Mongo so hard she needed surgery, I would do the same to him. I really don't like animal abusers. Model related, Mongo likes to steal tires.
  10. No pictures, but a Maserati sedan and a twin-steer 5 axle wrecker.
  11. Mine in Battle Creek, MI had the stagecoach kit and the Lindberg F-106 kit. That's all folks!
  12. How about Smokey and the Bandit where the cop cars change back and forth between Pontiacs and Mopars.
  13. Does it do 185?
  14. I thought I remembered seeing someone who did one of these, but can't remember who. Any leads?
  15. Finished these today. Not my best efforts, but they look ok from 100 feet.
  16. A few pics of this. I may or may not find some mirrors for it. More pics in Under Glass
  17. Decent kit with a nice 302. Some not too nice fitting body pieces. More pics in Under Glass
  18. Each has it's own thread in the WIP section. I took more pictures, but my camera seems to have eaten them. I'm just surprised noone has mentioned the Boss 429 in the Cobra.
  19. I placed a couple small spacers under the rear springs to bring up the back. The paint is cheap brown craft paint from Hobby Lobby, Anita's Warm Brown I think. You can see the spacers on the picture of the bottom of the chassis (pic #4).
  20. Here's Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, Ho Hum, and the Cat all finished up.
