  1. I think it was to save space. Does the engine cowl sit close to the engine? If it does, that's probably why. Also it uses less pipes. You don't have to make a second pipe junction to one pipe. Instead it is just one pipe. Engine and chassis looks great Harry. Are you going for a box-top build?
  2. Cool!
  3. I like the yellow and black
  4. Been a long time since I've done a workbench post... But I will be building a BMW 320i Here are the wheels I am going to use. They are from the AMT AMC Gremlin. The tires are from the Tamiya Nissan 180sx kit. As of right now, I have attached the fender flares and is on the second round of filler to round them into the body to make them look like they belong there. I did not take any pictures of before I put the second round of putty on, but it was ugly. Pits and cracks everywhere. And also sorry for the sloppy putty work, but hey, it'll all get sanded off anyway! NOTE: do not expect regular updates. With school, lifting and basically life going on behind the curtain, it's hard to find build time, even on the weekends. Thanks for looking! Glenn
  5. Ahhh!!!! Godzilla!
  6. ... you're right. Had to do a double look at that.
  7. Looks cool. Everything looks good lowered!
  8. This is amazing. The wheels alone could be a kit itself. I might have to get one of those engines, just because it's that cool.
  9. Wow. When I checked it at 1 pm it was only at 50-ish dollars. We are all a bunch of suckers aren't we!
  10. I wonder why they made the manifolds go on the inside rather than the outside... Save space?
  11. Cool diorama! Do you know if he built all the cars there or are they other peoples? They look great.
  12. Tyler, your charger looks great. Although there is some flaws, the black paint is smooth like glass. That is really hard to achieve. Black is one of the most unforgiving paint ever. And congrats on getting 1st place!
  13. Looks GREAT! As for the pupils. I read in a military magazine that had a feature about painting figures. The guy who did it didn't paint the whites and the pupil, but instead used a black wash to bring out the definition in the eyes. My dad used to paint the whites and the pupils and the guy always looked like he was about to do #2 in his pants. So I'd just use a black wash to bring out the detail instead of actually painting them.
  14. Awesome score! Paint looks okay .. Why take it off?
  15. Great job. The rake is just enough to make this car real cool.
  16. Give any thought to a Champagne body with a white roof? That might look okay. Right now the black and red has my vote. Might be a little ordinary, but hey. Still will look cool.
  17. looks good Niko
  18. Clear looks good. A bit everyday and you'll be done in no time.
  19. Wow. Wow. Wow. Just read through the whole thread. It is truly remarkable. Will this still be a Diamond T, I saw you mentioning that a few pages back, or will it be like the Rat Wrecker?
  20. Cool!
  21. Looks very nice. Both the car and the model look good too...
  22. Decals look great, keep it up.
