  1. Very nice build! One of my old time favourites. Love the colour and wide whites.
  2. also, nice choice of wheels.
  3. Good to see that you decided to build cars....and the beginnings of a garage! Stay with it and bring in more cars!
  4. Another build from you with lots of personality. Pretty cool car!
  5. Sure has that "Gotcha'" factor! I like it a lot!! You did a great job on this one.
  6. I LIKE it also....always enjoy Joe's take on things.
  7. I've purchased kits from several manufacturers and some are very acceptable to me, while sometimes they mess something up. The point is...they provide us with models that we love to buy...good or not. And that puts a smile on my face!
  8. Are we talking any ford swap?p?Mustang roof to a '49 coupe.
  9. Are we talking any ford swap?p?Mustang roof to a '49 coupe.
  10. Going on record here to let Revell/Monogram know that I would buy a few of this kit...if they ever got around to get it out to the public. I'm sure there are others that feel the same. Look at the success of the various dueces. I have a few of them in all the available configurations, so Revell, what do ya say? Please give us a '29 Ford roadster on duece frame! Seems to be popular request.
  11. I like everything you did to this model! Two thumbs up!
  12. If you're looking for an old school hobby shop, you could definately check out Dave's in Woodstock! First time I went through the front door, it felt like a step back in time. Love the place!
  13. Very cool that you still have the old paperwork from back in the day. I'll bet you have a lot of model related items that could go into a museum, like build ups, magazine articles photos etc. You must like this hobby...
  14. Beautiful job on all of them! 1/32 you say? Wow! And looking forward to the completion of the gull-wing for sure!
  15. I did some paint purchases at Dundas Hobby last year, and liked the store and the service I received. I don't drive in winter weather, but I hope to get back in the spring. Really good selection of paints....not enough kits....
  16. That looks good Ray! Love the Moon style discs and exhaust ports also. (Is the '53 dry yet? heh heh) Just messin' with ya on that.
  17. An old sewing table that my father-in-law built for my wife many years ago. I've been using it for a very long time.
  18. Nice highboy Jim!
  19. Really nice colour and I like the white interior. Looking forward to seeing some outdoor photos to really show that wicked colour!
  20. This is gonna be great! I like the look of it a lot already!
  21. Whenever possible, try to fill patches/gaps etc with styrenecut to the shape needed. Glue in place, after glue dries, put a skim coat or two over the patch. If you make your patch the correct size, there will be no shrinkage of the styrene, and minimal putty. Sand and paint. Light years better than simply putty.
  22. I use Xacto #11 blades mostly, but have also #11 surgical blades for trimming BMF. Always try to keep new blades on hand, but often use older blades for jobs that require less precision, like removing parts from sprue. And I always wear safety glasses when using ANY blade!
