You're doing a great job on this build! I have a question....is the seat upholstery wrinkled and if so, how did you do that? Or, is it just an illusion from the paint? (OK....that was 2 questions.....sorry). Love the weathered dog dish hubcaps! This is going to be killer!
I have a few kits that I bought for a good price long ago, and I'm sure most of them have parts I'll use on projects that I build these days. When I bought them, I really thought I'd get around to them someday. But to just have them is a really nice feeling... I'll never run out of possible projects.
I completely missed this build before. My apologies. I love your customizing work. Really like turning the Packard lenses upside down! It gives the car such a low appearance, so with the skirts and low suspension, it looks great! I'll keep my eye on this!
The option I suggest is to use the appropriate size strip styrene (eg: 30X 30mm). Measure the needed length and cut. For "glass", I use clear acetate. Really, just a simplistic suggestion, I'm sure others will guide you to a better solution.
Thanks fellas! Yes Ira, this is a lot of fun! You can design any shape or add details to your liking. Great diversion from other projects! And, there are a lot of fundamentals of modelling that you can brush up your skills also?
Because this trailer is so low.....and a woody as well, I've decided on it's name, after seeing a sign on the highway that read......
"BAGGED WOOD"
Funny how the mind connects silly things together eh?
