  1. Thanks very much. I was only looking to have a "little" fun.....
  2. I used to have 100's, but gave most away a few years back. I still have a stack of "real" cars mags, and a lot of car model mags. But my favourite has to be my 1961 Custom Craft small mag with a photo of a model I built on the Editor's page (4). My Mom bought it and gave it to me in1969, just before I moved to my own place. She was really proud of what I had done...and yes, I loved my Mom!!
  3. That'll be a giggle when the train and cars collide eh?
  4. Another view...
  5. Thanks for looking. Here's another view.....
  6. He said, "You should make this a highboy and paint it red." So I did. This was the result. After numerous body modifications and scratchbuilding ( frame, suspension including shocks, rolled rear pan and other parts made to fit) , I used the rear view mirrors from a 32nd scale Malibu, turned them around for headlights. Guages were made with aluminum tubing for bezels, and styrene rod for faces, detail painted, steering wheel from the 32nd scale parts box and painted/upholstered the rest. There is no engine, but the remaining under carriage is scratched with parts box mufflers and solder tailpipes and aluminum tips. Hope this will be enjoyed by "blunc".
  7. A friend gave me a baggy with a 32nd scale mess of a '32 Ford made by Pyro. It was from their60's series called "table tops". It looked much like this.....
  8. Thanks for the nice remarks fellas!
  9. You got some cool plans for the "T" Blair? Nice score!
  10. Another....
  11. A couple more pics...
  12. Love long roof cars! The colours you have really go well together. Nice job!
  13. This started out as the police sedan in the "Backdraft" combo with the firetruck, I believe. Been years since I built this, I've forgotten for sure. Anyway, decided to modify it a bit, and make a grocery getter wagon. Made the rear floor, wheel wells, and the back of the rear seat is carpeted like the floor if you wanted the seat folded down. Made the roof rack and the windows are acetate. Opened up the holes in the rear bumper for the taillights and threw on a radio antenna. The hubcaps are 25 th scale from a '37 Chev. Also put a tow-hitch on....'cause you never know what you might drag home. I know it's wrong in many ways, but thought I'd show it to you. Thanks for looking.
