  1. There are some builds that I really am interested in, and then they fade away for a while. This is one of those builds! Have you made any progress with this project? I hope you have, because it's a really neat project!
  2. Welcome to the forum Jess. Pretty neat stuff happens here!
  3. I keep coming back to this build because it's so well done! You've done an absolutely beautiful job on everything here. The chrome looks amazing, which suits this car! When I look at your model, I just have to smile.
  4. This will be a very cool t-bucket. Love the colour!
  5. This is /will be really cool! Like all the changes you're making as well as your weathering.
  6. Nice!
  7. "Knock on Wood", but everything is fitting well so far. Today, I got the taillight mounts in and the fenders/wheels all together. I also BMF'd the sectioned rear bumper and started on the wood trim for the sides. Also prepped the curtains to be installed after paint. I believe it's time for a nap! haha
  8. Looks pretty darn good! Of course, it's a favourite of mine, so I'm biased.
  9. Neat ol' dragster! I like it!
  10. I feel lucky with my workspace being a small extra bedroom in my apartment. I keep everything confined to that room, so if I have the rare or occasional guest, I just close the door to that room. Only have one friend that digs model cars, and I rarely see him. But the room is very bright and has lots of space for my stuff. I am often out of my chair for various reasons, so I don't tire of sitting. I have a card table in front of the window where I do some work and mock ups, and my "working" desk built by my deceased father-in-law, which I've used for many years. My painting (and supplies) are in a separate location away from the apartment building, so I "commute".
  11. As usual, another great build! Beautiful black paint!
  12. Welcome to the dark side.....heh heh.....
  13. My goodness! What a terrific trio! I hope one of your options will include keeping them as is.....a wonderful look at way back! But then again.....
  14. This is a lovely build! The wheels look 100% better now! The chassis appears beautifully finished also. Really an extremely appealing model!
  15. Well, nothing really noticeable today, although I was busy for a while in the "shop". Went through my old chrome trees, and found a '37 Chevy bumper, but had to take some material away from the middle. Built a support bracket to go behind the bumper. I also removed excess length in the top, added a strip of styrene for a door threshold and placed the spears behind the bubble windows.
  16. That would be a good kit to have a go at...if they ever decided to do it. I'd buy a couple.
  17. Nice start! To my old eyes, it looks like you used masking tape for the top. Or is that masked off and painted? Should be nice when you're done.
  18. Looking massively cool! I love the rear spoiler....looks so natural...like it was just meant to be there. Glad this puppy is holding together! Looking forward to the finished car Stan. Cheers!
  19. Very nice looking Cougar! Paint work looks excellent!
  20. Hey thanks again Roger! I'll look for the T-Bird this week. Actually, I have the chrome outers and tires, but nothing in my parts box for rears of rims. I've decided that these are THE wheels I want for this truck! But like you said...the kits are worth it!
  21. That's a very cool project!
  22. This changed my ENTIRE life! It was either 1958 or 1959, and I was returning home from the local store with a loaf of bread. I really wasn't paying attention to the roadway, but suddenly I realized a noisy car had come around the corner and was pulling into a driveway just 15 or 20 feet in front of me. I had never seen a hot rod...ever...and there was a "T" roadster pickup...fenderless...Chevy V-8...big and little tires!!! My jaw felt like it was on the sidewalk! I was in love! And on the "tailgate" was the car's nickname... "Roamin' Chariot"!! That began my love affair with hot rods...there I was...11 or 12 years old....in love with a car!!
