Welcome aboard, your paint job turn nice and that’s not common with rust oleum. I wouldn’t put any clear on top. And nice painted stripe also!

Revell 1948 Ford Police Coupe 1/25 Scale, in Lavender.
Pierre_tec replied to Dragonhawk1066's topic in Model Cars
When I saw your video and you said it’s going to be lavander, I didn’t see it well at my imagination. Now that I see it together, looks like a really nice and different color. Nice build, love your channel ! -
Sometimes the simple the better. I bet if I paint with automotive lacquer and 2k, even polishing, isn’t going to look as well as yours. Nice nice build

You got some nice pieces there, but the 64 Impala, wow!

Paint Question on AMT 63 Vette
Pierre_tec replied to Len Woodruff's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
If you said Scotch brite! You find your problem then I use it to “kill” the shine on a new body, before primer, the maroon that I believe is 400. Beside that is too aggressive, try using light mist of flat black as a guide coat to check for any sanding marks before paint. Clear is a big magnifying glass try lightly sand until 1.5k that area and repeat, should be fine -
Pretty sure that those Galaxy’s didn’t shine like that even new! What a nice model!
-
My bmf didn’t like the polished body, since doesn’t wanted to stick, I don’t put it

Looks so good, such attention to detail. How much you waited between paint and clear, I known enamel dry slowly, or some said, takes weeks to really dry. I mostly use automotive paint, but MCW got a really nice enamel choices

Pierre_tec replied to Dragonhawk1066's topic in Model Cars
Turn out nice! Love your videos, always waiting for you completed builds videos! Such a talent with craft paint, talent cause I have many times, but always stick with lacquers since still don’t get the correct way even watching the tutorials many time. -
Yours turn out nice! The color really set the difference in build. Thanks for the advice on the chassis fitment, since I just paint the body, but didn’t to the test first , ahhhgrrr!
-
Like many said, such a nice build. Got 2 on stash, but want to finish some stalled projects first. looks nice in another color other than the typical white, orange and yellow
-
At least you got the correct thought, not looking for perfection! I have damaged so many paint jobs in search for perfection, that only one can see. nice color choice
-
Look so nice, what paint are you using?
-
Well things have change, even that I work, is the wife the one that said no,no! ?
