  1. Very nice indeed! And that's not an easy paint job to pull off, but you did it quite well.
  2. Wrong section or not, pretty cool!
  3. No, it doesn't, but that's not a huge problem.
  4. Thanks for the opinion. I saw one of these kits, NIB and factory sealed, at the local toy show today for $60! And this from a vendor known for VERY fair prices, even bargains in many cases. Had no idea the thing was worth that. So I think I will do S&M car, probably the MP. BTW, I do have another JoHan Superbird in a Richard Petty box I think would be a better candidate to build stock anyway.
  5. Wow, fantastic! I'd have had NO idea it wasn't 1/24 if you hadn't posted the pic with the nickel.
  6. In 50 years of modeling, I don't think I've ever seen a Vicky model built anything LIKE this one. Very different, very imaginative, very interesting, and therefore Very Cool! Model on!
  7. Nice clean build--could be a box art car. Great work on a kit that's not so great itself.
  8. Very different and very cool! Another Glue Bomb Savior at work! Model on!
  9. Wow, that is a BRIGHT yellow! Nice job, too.
  10. Wow, great save! You can be proud of this one. You are truly a Glue Bomb Savior! Drive on!
  11. Very nice! That's a great color on this car. Well done and model on!
  12. That is a very, VERY sharp looking restomod! Well done!
  13. He just said everything I was going to say. Nicely done!

Very sharp! I got one of these a few weeks ago, so thanks for the "sneak preview" of what it can become. I hope mine comes out as nice as yours!
  15. Very sharp! That lime green really POPS!
  16. Whine about it all you want, but you produced an OUTSTANDING model out of the thing! Very well done and model on!
  17. Well, it came out gorgeous!
  18. Absolutely Fabulous! I can't remember the last time I saw one of these. Too bad they can't or won't restore and reissue this kit. As much as we've all enjoyed building Badmans over the years (my own humble effort below) , it would be just Too Cool to have this back in its original form. Thanks for sharing this one!
  19. Nice! Where did you get the ANG decals? Do they come in this kit, or are they from a model airplane sheet or something?
  20. Feel free to. MOST AMT kits are quite buildable, and many of us have been building them for 50 years or more. I've never built the kit you're talking about, so can't speak to it, but I just started work on AMT's Snapper '53 Vette--essentially, an unassembled promo--and don't foresee any problems with it. By coincidence, I just found what seems to be the up-top from the kit you're working on in a bag of random parts I bought at a show, and I'm going to try to make that work with it, though it looks like it will need some minor "tweaking" to fit. Model on!
  21. Very interesting! I have one of these in the stash to do so I'll be following along to see how you make out with it. Drive on!
  22. Wow, what a great story. You can be doubly proud of this one.
  23. STRIKING color combination! What an eye-catching model! Well done!
