  1. Nice kit and nice execution. Not sure how accurate it is. I don't think LA County has a Western Star with a Bro wrecker body.
  2. No not me. Trying to find the builder.
  3. Another one of your quality scratch builds.
  4. Does anyone know who built this one?
  5. I didn’t build it. That was from the Germany hobby trade show.
  6. I have that Testors kit. It has the little sleeper incorrectly used in the Pete kits. It's about time Italeri came out with a new North American subject.
  7. This kit has just been reissued. It should be easier and cheaper to acquire.

  9. Whoa, 1963 or 64! Vehicle subjects and especially truck models of that era are increasingly becoming expensive and rare. To be accurate with an answer to your request you would have to post a photo of the subject in question. I would look toward a Chevy collector or an antquic toy dealer.
  10. WOW, excellent craftsmanship! I’m sure if you offer a North American subject like an old Mack or White truck these will sell very well here.
  11. I cannot buy that the “G†scale train models (Bachmann, Aristocraft) are anywhere close to the advertised 1/24th, 1/22nd or 1/20th scales. If an AMT/Ertl semi trailer is an accurate 1/25th scale 40 foot long, then a “G†scale train trailer should be able to accommodate two model truck trailers as loads at the smallest scale (1/24th scale). I have yet to see a “G’ scale trailer that long.
  12. That's what the 1:1 thread is for.
  13. Imai offered several truck model kits during the 1980s. One of the more notable was the off scaled Ford CL 9000 cab over. The quality of the parts is typically high for the Japanese kits, but overly simplified and grossly inaccurate. Evidently all Imai truck kits had motors and working lights. Your particular kit's subject category is not that popular for truck modelers per se. After the massive truck model craze of the 1970s, model manufactures were trying to rekindle interest in the genre by linking racing and trucking, which was popular in places such as Germany and Australia, but never really caught on in the US and Canada. Since the model is a cartoonish facsimile of a Kenworth drag truck, any scale wheels would work. It’s not like it will be judged on 1:1 accuracy at a model show!
  14. Again, several aftermarket firms offer these already.
  15. There are after market options of numerous wheel variations. Your next kit if this one is successful must be a modern reefer trailer just like this one!
  16. Do you work by candle light since you are in Amish country?
