  1. The Pete, Aerodyne KW and the Flatbed trailer have been re-issued several times since its original release, several times in North America, several times in Germany. I can’t remember that the low KW sleeper has ever been reissued. Incidentally, the KW low sleeper and Pete sleeper were unique for each subject, not the same style used on both models. Kudos for Revell. Colin Grey of New Zealand offered several excellent aftermarket items for the kits. I don’t know what happened to Colin Grey or the molds. But this has been brought up on another thread on this board.
  2. Highway, search the truck model forum. There are several 1/16th scale kit topics about.
  3. Talk about insane! This guy built this "N" scale rig and was going to offer them as kits. Never happened.
  4. I have both the 379 ex and the W900. They have been around for about 10 years. Great castings.
  5. So these are the old kits originally offered through Clint Freeman?

  7. Where did you get this information? I have first hand knowledge that it is still scheduled for December 2010.
  8. MAN an Navistar have a joint venture with a new high horse power engine.
  9. Give us a shot from 3/4 view.
  10. Very nice subject and well executed in sticking to your personal theme from the logging industry.
  11. Shouldn't that grille have some curve on it?
  12. Hello Anthony, There has been some good advice posted on this thread. I also suggest you join the MTDG · Model Truck Discussions. Between that group and this one, you virtually have personal access to almost all the top model supplies in the world. A company named Jada offers a decent 1/24th scale diecast International 4400 roll off truck. It is not that expensive and can be used as a base for modification. I probably was used to cast the resin 4400 items any way.
  13. These are from Kit Form Services. They are out of Great Britian.
  14. There is a plethora of very accurate after market wheels available. From spoke to steel discs to polished aluminum.
  15. Didn’t the Cummins N-14 offer 600hp?
  16. Oh, I get it Tim! You used black marker on the lights to simulate the rubber gaskets.
  17. Why don’t you order directly from Howard (KFS)? The dollar is pretty good against the pound right now.
  18. If you can locate an AMT T600 cab, that would be the appropriate starting point for your subject. The Revell kits are superior as far as detail is concerned, but the AMT T600 has the correct cab (notice the one piece windshield) albeit, lower quality casting and details as compared to the Revell T600 cabs.
  19. I got a reply from Moebius as to why they chose to make the Lone Star in 1/25th scale. They said they decided to make it compatible with all of the AMT and Revell kits, rather than the Italeri kits. That means all of the old Ertl International parts would be in the same scale. They said they are new to automotive vehicles and stuck with 1/25th scale.
  20. It is simply a Kenworth T 800 Aero Cab, around 2000 to 2003 vintage. A fantastic modeler from Montréal called Plaskit offers excellent cabs and accessories that can replicate this tractor using Revell of Germany or AMT base Kenworth kits. http://s429.photobucket.com/albums/qq13/danielgailloux/Plaskit_truck_conversion/
  21. Personally, if you are going to the trouble of attempting to kit bash two kits to make a new trailer, I think it would be easier and your results would be more accurate from a modern subject point of view to build it from scratch. A flat bed is among the easiest trailer to build. There have been several excellent scratch built trailers on this forum and you will learn a whole lot about trailers, acquire new modeling skills and have the satisfaction of knowing you can tackle any model issue. Dont be afraid to ask.
