  1. Odds are its already been posted on the Fotki site.
  2. My bad, but they do look out of scale. BTW, starting different threads for the same subject is confusing.
  3. Ok, but they do look out of scale.
  4. Always look at the wheels. The accuracy of the wheels is the tell tail!
  5. Don’t you know if there was a modern up-to-date1/24th scale livestock trailer kit, everybody and their mama would have purchased it!
  6. I wish they made just 1/4th of the subjects as 1/24th scale kits as the have in 1/32nd and 1/64th scale diecast big rigs!
  7. It’s a 1/32nd scale diecast.
  8. It’s a 1/32nd scale diecast.
  9. Your build is a great showcase for the hood purchase. I had this in mind.
  10. Car Models Magazine. It was done by the German modeler, Günter Bönisch. He is a nice guy. Here is his web site: http://www.gb-scaletrucks.de/
  11. Deland! I use to live in Orlando.
  12. ' What? I think I might have paid $60 for it when it was first issued. Talk about taking advantage!
  13. Nice build as always Jamie. Where did you get the GPS dome and fence? What did you use for the tread plate?
  14. The rack is included in the Revell Pete 359 and KW K199 Aerodyne kits.
  15. Caterpillar sent Howard Whitehead of KFS a Cease and desist order. He had to stop selling his photo etched Caterpillar logos and changed his excavator kit’s color scheme. I suspect they came after Clint Freeman about his 3406E resin kit. They don’t play!
  16. May be the next commercial kit from Mobius can be a Prevost
  17. Hey how about this idea? Why not offer a Harley division Edition Lonestar?
  18. I appreciate the hard work Mr. Metzner. From my experience, several model subjects have made it to the mock up stage only to be lost in the model truck ether. We are still a bit of a ways off from getting this subject on to our work benches. If I might add, please don’t neglect the wheels and tires. Many a good model kit has been compromised by inaccurate wheels and tires. Proprietary International aluminum wheel pattern and low profile highway rubber would be preferred. As far as the Kenworth you mentioned, I assume you are referring to the AMT T600 kit that was offered in the early 1990s. In my humble opinion it was a bust. It appeared that it was a final gasp at AMT trying to resurrect their once proud line of big rig kits. It seemed they were aiming to the NASCAR crowd as a racing team haul rather than the big truck fan. They gave it just enough detail to satisfy the NASCAR crowd and not enough to interest the big rig fan. After your company has sold the first 20,000 kits of the Lonestar and the second 10,000 kits of the Prostar, please considered a Kenworth T700 or a Freightliner Cascadia as your next subjects!
