This kit is Rosso's 1/12 NSX, have one in my stash Very nice and detailed kit, just not so interested in the car as much anymore Hope you keep building this, see if you can inspire me..... or I will sell it

Another masterpiece of gorgeous gleaming red and chrome Your work puts the box art to shame! I really have liked my Minicraft kit for subject and scale...yes the manufacturing is only fair, but most brands are that way. Kits are only starting points on building your particular version of the kit.

My kit came Monday This is what I have been planning to make, perfect for a build thread on Fujimi's It is the Gas Monkey F40....not really a huge fan of the drama queen show, but the car and the mechanic guy are cool So now it is trying to find time. I have to finish my MG build first: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=96619&hl= and have a May 4th Star Wars Tie Fighter group build on another site to do. Oh and work, kids and dog to look after.... Wife wants to knock the house down and build another, so that might put a monkey wrench into all my plans! Keep posting your stuff up guys!! had to edit the pics as I messed with them on photo bucket, sorry

Did a sneaky late night "can't go to sleep 'cause I had a coffee too late model session" last night I removed that back sprue in the cab, covered a plastic bench in matching interior leather and covered the seat back and floor in the ultra suede material Smoothed out the gas tank and adjusted it to sit tight against the rear of the cab Forgot to set my alarm and slept in half an hour this morning...ooops, made for a fast morning!

Try this again for pics Paint came out ok. Still need to give it a clear coat and polish. Going to be a bit of a fight with the bonnet's fit so am saving that for last. Be gentle, this is my first use of BMF. Happy to have any tips/comments So I circled the cabin with chrome and added some of the lines on the rear fenders. I know there is a sprue to remove still in behind the seats Some glamor shot practice with a background C'est tout pour ce soir

My four day weekend update I spray painted fenders, cab, and doors red and wheels silver I bare metal foiled the running board raised lines and then went on a tangent and BMF'd the top of the door armrests. After that I had to do the circumference of the whole tub so it looked continuous and then the dashboard rim as well. After all that nice chrome, the wheels looked dull so I zapped them with some Tamiya Bright Silver to brighten them up a bit Got bigs hunk of the paintwork done today so now can focus on some assembly My photo bucket is acting weird right now and won't let me copy and paste the photo links ....will try later Cheers for looking

You are amazing, Skip

Looking good!

You are making me think twice Tan wheels and a tan rad grill would look pretty cool But all my research says silver wheels with grill matched to the interior I have seen quite a few red cars, red engines, red grilles and silver wheels...that is where I got started
-
Must just be the yellow of the light, wheels are grey, soon to be primed and silver Do I prime white or grey before painting silver for wheels? (Not Alclad just Tamiya silver)
-
First time using BareMetalFoil. The running board accent lines, three each side are BMF....mine is sticky backed foil so no glue. Just cut 1mm strips and burnished with cotton bud Angle of photo shows top inside one looks off. Finicky, but better than paint
-
She is coming along. This is all dry fitted and now starting to look like a MG The hood and doors need paint and some fiddling to get to fit, touch up the runs of red in engine compartment Will try to get wheels done today as well I can't do any Alclad chrome as I need that gloss black first and LHS is closed Sun and Mon Thinking red in the grill, not tan as the factory would be Gonna get working now

Does Future alter the chrome foil?? Can you clear the paint and chrome foil with future at the same time or will the chrome yellow? ps rolling chassis is looking very sleek and gorgeous
