As a fellow Long Islander I have to say that the LIARS club always puts on a great show,with zero complaints.Well maybe it could be a little closer to my house in Smithtown,say Commack.?..Anyway,the rec center gymnasium is the perfect place for their show.Its weird,I have been attending their fall show for years,and I remember for a couple of years the show was held at,what I believe was the Raddison Inn on the LIE in Happauge,(which is now Jakes 57/hotel,and video casino.It was upstairs in one of their banquet halls.It was ridiculous,i felt like i was at a wedding instead of a model contest,and the lighting really sucked.There were some other “catering” halls scattered around LI through the years,before the show finally landed at the Freeport center.

I recently saw The newer version of (The Last House on the Left).Great,suspensfull,& violent movie.Pretty sick ending..I Also recently saw Trainspotting 1,&2.I thought the second one was better than the first.Its literally 20 years later.I thought both TS 1,& TS 2 were hilarious films,with a great sound track..Check it out…Sorry,i have to ask,but is this post for “new” movies,or any movie,new or old.Cause I have not been to the movies in like over 5 years.Wow.Theres no theaters really near me.?.And no clue what the last movie I saw was.

Idk,here on LI NY,,kinda sucked,clouds rolled in at the last second.But I was my really in the line of ,whatever you call it,sorry.It was nothing really at all.Oh well.I seriously don’t think i’ll be around for the next one in about 20 years.?‍♂️

Well I gotta say,from my point of view here on LI,it sucked.Clouds rolled in,never really got any darker..And yea that cereal box were my glasses..Only thing i could make it under 10 seconds.Idk,I was hoping for a better view,oh well.?

My nephew,who attends Syracuse university,said he felt it too.Idk,but there are some decent size faults that run across NJ,that stretch well into NYS.

Yup,we felt two very mild aftershocks later in the day..I did hear some reports that there were some broken glass on some high rise buildings.Again,I just hope there were no serious injuries,major damage,or anymore scared cats.?,lol..

Just saw this on TV.This is how rare earthquakes occur in NY,/East coast.I don’t know how folks on the West coast,like CA deals with so many quakes.?‍♂️?

Yup this is true.I’m sure there were plenty of animals out there acting strange just before the quake.I can’t recall the last time NY/NJ,had a quake.

At about 10:25 am,today,a mild earthquake,about 4.7 magnitude shook parts of the East coast.I live on LI,NY,and we felt our entire house shake.It only lasted a few short seconds,but it was the strangest feeling.Im sleeping in bed,being my day off,when out of no where,my bed began to shake,(most action it’s seen in months).?.From what I heard,the damage was very light.We had no damage.But still,when your house starts to move on its own,,it’s a bit unnerving..Just curious,if anybody else felt it?I hope there were no injuries or major damage.Its pretty rare to feel an earthquake here in NY,but I guess they do happen from time to time.

I picked up this issue of Hotrod.I have to say that this might be their best issue.Tons of wild Pro Street cars that I remember..Plus RPM is another excellent magazine for anything Pro Street.Just hard to find it anywhere for sale anymore,so I guess you have to subscribe.

I’m only posting this because my brother is a bridge worker here in NY..Six construction workers are presumed dead following the collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge early Tuesday after an out of control container ship hit the bridge,causing a large section of the bridge to come down,taking the workers with it..Thoughts and prayers go out to the construction workers who are presumed dead.Officials said around 7:30 p.m,Tuesday, nearly 18 hours after the bridge collapsed, that the six people are still unaccounted for.The NTSB say that a search and rescue mission is now a recovery mission.RIP.??

Ok,please,somebody has to stop all these disgusting “ Lume” ads.If you have never seen the commercials,it’s really pretty gross,in theory.Its said to be some sort of super anti BO cream,and it’s supposed to control BO,both in women,and now men,wherever it is on your body,for up to 72+ hours w/o bathing..The woman in the ad,the inventor,some OBYGN,literally seems to be “thrilled” on describing all the disgusting notions of our own body oder,in great detail,while shoving it in our faces without warning.I really think if this woman could reach through the television,and shove her fingers down your throat and make you puke, I have zero doubt she'd do it without hesitation.??
