Yea,I have carpeting too,and I’m sure it’s much easier to clean with rubber mats/floor covering.I do have cruise control,but i don’t think I’ve ever used it.The CVs are great cars.Built Ford tough,as they say.??I picked up this white 1/18th scale CV yesterday at a car show/swap meet,for $5.

This Nova and Mustang were insane.I overheard someone say that the Mustang had over 1,500 hp,running 8s,but who knows.?‍♂️

Cool,not sure if you knew,but LI Cars is holding their Flowerfield car show,in St James today.Im out the door now,slept a little late,but what else is new?‍♂️?Hope to take a bunch of pics.Should be really crowded.

Yup,no problem.I did get a quick chance to ask him for the hell of it,if it was for sale.He just looked at me,smiled,rolled his eyes,and drove away..Arrrggg.

Sorry I didn’t mean to take attention away from your Cutlass.Very nice car.I know a guy with one.Hes had it since he bought it brand new in his senior year of HS.The car has really low miles,and is pretty much showroom condition.And he has done a lot of work to his motor.

First night was this past Tuesday.And it was packed.Its a weekly cruise night that begins this past week,through late Oct.Put on by Long Island Needs a Dragstrip.All volunteers at a church that just happens to have the perfect parking lot for a show.And they actually were able to bring drag racing back to LI.Its an 1/8th mile,track on a concrete runway,There’s no traction,but it’s still drag racing..Once the summer hits,there’s weeks where about a 1000 or so cars come down to the cruise night.Father Henry allows the show to go on,as long as there’s no street racing,burnouts,drugs,alcohol,etc.Hey it’s a church.

You wanna have fun,pick up a used police car.Theres tons of different ones,some were junk,but most were simply great all around cars.I have an 09 ExFed black Crown Vic.Its in really good shape,and not butchered like some.I threw on a cold air KnN,filter,lower pulleys,and a Flowmaster cat back system.Its a 4.6.Like I said,nothing crazy,just get it out on the highway,and goodbye.I think there’s a company,ADTR,they make a bunch of Panther platform framed cars, (Crown Vic’s,Marauders,Town,Cars,etc)performance parts.

I love seeing 70s,80s,90’s cars driving around.Two,four door,station wagons,and vans,doesn’t matter.I’m actually looking to possibly pick up some local guy’s car.Its a 70 Mercury Cyclone,with a numbers matching 351 Cleveland.Very similar to this one.

I was thinking about that too.A death bed confession..No,it would’ve been televised.?Hey maybe he left it in his will,bla bla…I also read he was like $115 million in the red.Too bad,now his kids won’t be getting half the money they thought they were going to be getting.Alrighty then.

Thank you Bob..I’ve Gotta say,it would be great if they had a couple of shows a year.But I know it must take a lot of hard work to put together a show.I have never been to the NNL East.Maybe I’ll try to attend.You got any extra room in your car??

.Yes sir,you are correct,and of course all police depts have there own chase policies.?It was just ridiculous how the thousands of people came out on the street during the rather slow and boring police chase.But how often do you see a celebrity,accused of a double murder running from the cops?Oh wait it’s LA,the car chase capital of the world. ?

Caught this Poncho at a cruise night last week.

Yup I’ve got a friend of mine who has been building the same Laguna S-3 replica for about 15 years or so.Hes gone through a half a dozen or so motors..And for the last three years,it sits rotting away under a torn cover,w/o a motor.

He sure played great football though,whatever anybody thinks about him.

You know I never really knew why the LAPD actually followed the Bronco.I mean,ok,he was a possible murder suspect.But the whole entire thing was just a big embarrassing moment for the whole city of LA..It was a circus,you know sort of like his entire televised trial.??

Yea I’ve dropped in on a couple of meetings,and an auction once.Great club,great bunch of guys.I know a couple of members.Too busy taken care of my old man right now.I missed like 1/2 this years LIARS show.Then recently i missed the whole “Replicon”show,cause I overslept.And speaking of the shows at the Radisson,I remember I had an unmarked blue (Lindberg) Ford Crown Vic police car..SAE just happen to be at the show,cause I remember they would cover the show on a regular basis,way back in the day.Anyway,I came back to the table,there was a photo card next to my kit.Long story short,SAE took a photo,and it was in an issue.I think it was around 94 sometime.I still have the issue somewhere.Only time I had a model in some magazine,or win anything.
