Ah see now you got me started.?Gotta be one of the BEST movies of all time. And my God if i had a nickel for every time i watched that chase,id be rich. And it just always gets better.Yea there was good old stunt driver,Mr.Wild Bill Hickman at the wheel.Gene Hackman did some of the driving too though, gotta give him credit..It got 5 Oscars. Not as many as the God father sagas, but that ain’t bad..And Ace,that’s like saying you never saw Godfather 1,&2.?♂️?♂️??.Yea,try to catch it,Imo,the second one fell a little short.Watch the 7Ups,It’s much better than the sequel.Sorry,I’m rambling.? -
Not only must you read all the instructions, you have to memorize them too.?And after you have to take a 100 multiple choice questions exam.

I have to say that The French Connection is one of my favorite books, and films.Since I was always a huge fan of Roy Scheider, ever since seeing him in (The 7Ups).And yea,of course it was absolutely ridiculous that they completely tore down the Lincoln, and put it all back together so quickly.I mean they even drained the cars fluids. We are forced to kinda look the other way, because it was such a great film. After all,it Got best picture. But these photos are pretty cool. Thanks for the info.?And anyway,IMO,the real “star” car has to be the 71 LeMans.lol..It’s weird,I always thought i knew everything about that famous chase scene, since I’ve watched it a million times. But the top picture is actually a real accident that happened during the filming of the chase, because a man was driving to work, and accidentally somehow drove onto the set,and happened to collide with the Lemans.After-all,the producers never got permission or the permits to film the chase, which was filmed under the EL in Brooklyn. No one was really injured,so they left it in the movie.Hmm?Anyway, stunt man,Bill Hickman(Bullitt,7Ups) did most of the driving. -

Yea,station wagons are great,I don’t care what year,or make, always liked them,I grew up in the back of my parents,72 AMC Ambassador wagon, with a 390, faux wood,it was like a two tone brown sort of..Remember driving to Fl a million times.Stopping at South of the Border.Getting a ton of fireworks..Id love to find one of there old original South of the Border bumper stickers.Theres a ton of U tube videos on the Roadmaster.U have to love the swing away steering column to make it easier to climb into it.?Cheers to him.

Hey it sucks,?♂️I can’t afford 95% of the cars that were auctioned off at BJ.?Who cares,i mean I don't give a sh#%.Just think it’s cool seeing some pretty cool cars. And it’s weird,I actually forgot, but they went on till about 10 mins ago.A ton of cheap Sunday rides, some real nice too..Hmm ?..And I just gotta say that maybe the baddest car that crossed the auction block, was a Jade black 69 Big block Boss 429 Mustang.????.And I’m a Mopar guy.Just a really mean looking car.Think it went for around $550K.

Promos are the only available models that you can work on,?,without painting any of them.

While we are on the subject of auctions,I have to say that the Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction was pretty crazy. Some wild cars, trucks,SUVs, a bunch of exotics, although there was only one red Lamborghini Countach (Did I spell that right?)?Anyway it only pulled in around $550k,others have gone well into the seven figures.Every boys dream car,of course.Imo the most ultimate exotic cars ever made, behind the Ferrari F40.And then rides, such as this Hummer, pretty cool, just not my cup of tea.And God I could throw up with all the Broncos, and Corvette resto-mods.And what the hell,6 figure Chevy Blazers,a few around $300K,??Are you kidding me?Well anyway,I did see some really nice Mopars that I thought should’ve been sold for a lot more money, but whatever.?♂️Hey three white Superbirds,a couple of them were HEMIs,I believe. And Dam did Sammy Hagar get old, wow.I think my favorite part of the auction are the sold sticker girls, slapping the sold sticker onto each car, after car.?Mmmmm.Alrighty.

Yea i try to catch Mecum and Barrett Jackson as much as I can.In fact Im watching Barrett (Scottsdale)right now.And as much as I like the car,I agree,it is WAY?over priced.Hey,maybe when I see the guy in the spring,I’ll make him a (much lower offer).?♂️Oh well..And speaking of Barrett Jackson,I just saw a 79 Bronco sell for $195,000.Are you kidding me??What is wrong with some people? The Guy deserves a good slap in the head.A 79???Sorry,thats Nuts?Actually, what blew me away was the 66 totally street legal Ford GT that went for $6.5 million at Mecum last week.
