Thanks Jim! Much appreciated! (I got my share of builds on here right now LOL) but this one well needs completed and done so I can move on, to the next one, and finish it up (Rosco's Police Interceptor) so. then off to finish up a '68 Dart I do believe (these 3 models were all being built round robin style about a weeks ago), till I ran out of gloss coat and had to stop work on the Dart and continue on with the Roadrunner and the Monaco.... Which I plan to pic up where I left off within a day or 2.... Lots to build so little time! Thanks for following along! Have a look at the other builds I'm doing as well!

Yepper thats why I LEFT photobucket! When I first joined them a year after they were founded (2004), and back then there was no "limits" and then they started charging for "premium"-like accounts, which mine was if not premium, for what the account was like then. Then the limit thing started, and thats when I went looking for a better pic "host"...... I'm using Pinterest now as a host! ALL the builds of mine on here now, every picture is hosted by Pinterest..... -
Hey Joe..... When I go to build mine your GUARANTEED a WIP as I go!

Yeah, you use your phone to do the messages too or just for taking the pics? As if you use a computer to put them on the forums MS Paint, can and will lower the size of the file! -

Gotta love that "limit"..... -
You know..... thats the one thing that takes me a WEEK at times to make up my mind on, UNLESS its something I really don't have to think about for that particular model at the time..... is color! Certain cars I just KNOW what color they're gonna be before I even start, then there are those other models, that it takes me a bit to make up my mind what the color is going to be. the easy ones for me are family cars I'm modeling...... Then those cars I simply like whatever color, but then those I have and just can't point out a color I like to see it in, or have seen it in that catches my interest so I set and look through pics online of the real thing to see whats been done, whats out there and if anything, what one really catches my eye and looks good that whatever color. kinda like my '68 Roadrunner Rallye Red on that car is just beautiful! With a black interior, Didn't know that when I first started building it, but then it got to the point I had to paint the inner fenders and HAD to come up with a color, and that red, was it! (be thee first model tho, I have EVER painted all red!

Jordan, I know what it looks like, all the stores I listed do not have it, and to ask them if they can order it in was what I was referring too, they didn't even know what I was talking about. which is sad, years ago, I remember seeing it for sale (before I got back into model cars & truck building) so..... And for them to "order it" they have to know what they're looking for and sadly trying to go through a computer list of products in the floor care part of the store website didn't list anything but "polish" no protective coatings at all!!!! not even a good wax! (I was a buildings tradesmen and we always used good coatings on wood floors and even some tile had wax applied to it!!!! -

I know it right, LMAO on the Pledge Future shine..... I mean really I've gone to EVERYWHERE within 20 miles of where I live..... Ace Hardware, Lowes, Home Depot, Aubuchon Hardware, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Even Big Lots, Ocean State Job Lots, and no one in any one of the stores knew what I was asking for! They mentioned "Pledge" as a polish but not for floor care! And I told 'em that, yes, for floor care, as a clear coating, thats about the time they gave me the look as tho I had 4 heads LOL -MOST of them told me they never heard of "Future Shine"...... And those people that said it worked in the Lowes, Home Depot, and the Hardware stores believe it or not.... Whats something like that cost down your way? -PM me on it! -

Welcome back to the bench Jim! Thats a really good kit (I too have one in the process of building and am close done with it! Mine was built after a real one my Dad owned at one point.... LOTS of goodie parts for other builds of what you don't use as well! -
That body color looks GREAT!!!! I did one of these in Panther Pink a couple years ago!!!! Nice job!

Sorry I missed your post Steve! I bet you posted the same I did that day and I missed it! Anyway, thanks! much appreciated it...... I been working on this one as well as the '68 Roadrunner trying to beat my one model a year record LOL So many started and so many half way done and then others that just need body paint and final assembly and they'll be done, I'm trying to get a bunch of those over half way projects on display.... instead of waiting for work in their dark cardboard homes! -Thanks a bunch for following along!

My Chrysler A 318 poly head engine 3d printed at home
426-Hemi replied to my66s55's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I would not be to sure of that! MOST of the Poly engines were made in such a way that the heads could in fact be replace with Hemi heads! The difference on the 392 isn't the block length, its the deck height......... NOW having said that, the Poly blocks vs the LA blocks share exterior dimentions, almost EXACT, the difference is the Poly "A" blocks were heavy cast, the Wedge "LA" blocks were light Casts. thats where the "A" and the "LA" come from A block meaning first, and "LA" meaning "Light A". So because of this I would bet the 392 block would be pretty close the same length of that Poly is its done right as they were built to interchange! There was only 2 Poly-Head block that were unable to interchange with Hemi Heads, the 277 and the 318..... And there was only ONE Hemi block that Poly Heads weren't made for, and that was the 392...... Just because the deck height of the 392 block was higher and that makes the need to have a different intake!
