  1. NICE "COE's" guys.... ALL are great renditioned! MORE please!
  2. There are a few resin casters that make them...... Someone makes the 6.7 L Cummins Diesel and then someone else makes the 5.9L Cummins diesel..... I myself, am after the 5.9L Cummins to go in a '95 Dodge Ram 3500.....
  3. Yeah, they only made a total of 6 of the T-Rex 2500's..... They were originally a prototype...... But never made it pastthat, ALL 6 were powered by the V-10, of the day, these truckswere 1997 models! The Cummins Diesel 5.9L that Dodge used, there were differences from one year to the other in looks, so it might depend on the year your planning to model! Aloto f looks differences in the way the top ofthe motor was "Rocker Cover" and or air cleaner, and such.....
  4. -Sure is GREAT to hear..... -I myself have a couple reasons to want MORE of the early '60's Dodge pick ups..... BESIDES the fact I own one, and wantto model it!
  5. GREAT score man on the Best of Show, but the Newest family addition is the greatest of accomplishments..... Congrats man! On BOTH!
  6. The Rat Rod on the deck and the Rat Rod "Roll Back" look GREAT together!!!! NICE job man!
  7. And that sir looks GREAT! I'm gonna be doing something very similar to that, just mine won't be easily seen once on the model, its going up under the rear part of the frame, just ahead ofthe rear bumper..... SO, I will be drilling outthe lug nuts, and as you the center is already done, plus, make a "mount" to hold it in place like the real truck would have had, as well, I MIGHT open the 'openings" in the wheel, NOT sure yet on that one.... NUCH easier to hold glued into the tire I have to say!
  8. Thanks Ira! I been going at it pretty good with all the rain and stormy weather so..... -Last night, was tedious tho..... I was adding the plug wires, boots to them to the engine, BEHIND the manifold on the drivers side, what a BALLA FUN that was! -But, its done, OFF to adding a coil now!
  9. No, BUT I will be having a look at this to see what VCG has to offer. Thanks Stray! -Always nice to have an extra set of eyes looking or evening knowing of details I may not know of or about! So, THANK YOU!! EDIT: Went and had a look, they offer 2 different ones too! -I'm all hyped up now!
  10. - Can't wait to see where ya going with this part of it!
  11. just as I thought on the trailer, its really to wide for standard truck road transport..... I'll fix that issuse, when I getthat far! As forthe engine, YES, I'll be using that crank and head detail in a diorama that I plan to make as a garage for picture taking fun....... I MAY even attempt to mold those details to have a wayto have others for the same said garage!
  12. GAWD thats a whack............. POOR 'cuda! Hopefully you find a replacment..... The rest looks GREAT!
  13. -Thanks man! Much appreciated! I favor the 426, BUT the 392 is a very close second..... just due to its age and nostalgia.....
  14. NICE work Dan! VERY impressive, and gives me a littleinspiration as I'm gonna sit and "scratch" one to fit a truck I have.....
  15. Mike, I got to lookin at my kit, and yourright, BUT the engine in mine has a bit of "added" but unseen details that I'll wind up using in a Diorama of a garage.... better suited for a garage scene I think.... SO, I can tell you, the 426 Hemi will be going into this one...... AND to add to it, I think I'll be using a Dodge A100 at the "truck", to hitch the boat trailer too..... I have the PERFECT one for the job too! I got to ask tho, did you find the trailer seemingly to be a bit "wide"????? On my kit, it looks WAY To wide for a 1/25th scale trailer, (could be me tho)!
  16. Did it work as if it was glue, and how well did it hold?
  17. Who made the model of the Big Horn? (Thats ONE, I'd go a lookin' for as a model.....) NICE job! What ya use or did the kit have for a engine?
  18. I LOVE the enginework, any good shots of the NOS piping you did????? LOVE the car man, NICE job! EDIT: I went back a few pages and found decent pics of the fuel lines, NICE job man!
  19. GAWD that car looks good in blue (not the first time I've seen that on the Polara "330" or the Polara "440" in blue).... they have some NICE body lines for a early to mid-60's car! Next question is, what ya plan to use for a power plant in this one? Early 60's leave A LOT open to be used!
  20. Ray NICE work but I have to know, WHAT glue did you use to adhere the lens to the model car? I've tried everything from Plastruct Weld, to Pro-Weld from Ambroid to Tenax-7R and NOTHING has bonded the blister pack plastic very well........ so I have to ask what glue you use for this task? (I've tried using blister pack plastic for interior courtesy lights, and dome lights and nothing held the lens I made in place for very long....) So I been wondering what glue you and or anyone else uses for such things......
  21. Does look good, any engine pics?
  22. What ya mean "Thats all I got"????????
  23. I gotto ask, where on earth did you find the "528" looking Hemi valve covers? Those are completely different then any I've seen! -The intake, Hemi Cross-Ram, that looks as tho its scratch built, is it? IF so, NICELY DONE SIR! NICE detail job too BTW, that looks GREAT!
