1/16th Scale 1980 Reher-Morrison Pro Stock Camaro

I remember when the actual car ran over 40 years ago - you've captured that car's profile perfectly!- 32 replies

I had hoped to be there this year; however, responsibilities here at home will cause me to miss it. I remember the early shows from when I was a participating member. I will always be an ACME member at heart; the photo shows two of my most prized possessions. I know you will have a great show and I will shoot for next year!

Thank you very much! -
Hi, all; I built this model using the Tamiya Honda CB750F Custom Tuned kit. The front and rear suspensions, wheels and tires are from the Tamiya Ducati Panigale kit. The bike is painted with three different primers: Tamiya white and light gray and Duplicolor black. The Honda fuel tank has been shortened, narrowed and sectioned and has an Imex Harley fuel cap. The seat is a modified parts box unit covered in lambskin leather from an old jacket. The headlight is from a Revell Harley chopper and the taillight is a detector filter from a barcode laser scanner. Thanks for looking and comments welcome

Who doesn't love a mock-up? Let's see yours!

Thank you for your question - the pushrods and cylinder sleeves are scratchbuilt from aluminum; the heads, rocker covers and intake are from an old Imex harley kit. -

Definitely different and definitely cool! -
Very nice work - I'm building mine as a bagged variant. Your chassis pointers are much appreciated!

It turned out really nice and you got the ride height just right!
