    Very cool! I have a stash of these particular chassis; back in the 80's, I built a bunch of pro street models with these. Thanks to you and your builds, I'm going to try and build something with them!

    Thank you - I was trying to save the original, but the front end had some issues. So I kept the original quarter panels rocker panels, trunk lid and hood. To this I added new doors and front fenders. After a bit more sanding and filling, I'm going to prime it.

    A small update: NASCAR front clip installed along with Foose wheels and tires from the Foose pickup kit.

    Ten years ago, I suffered the same injury picking up a heavy box the wrong way. The actor Mario Lopez also incurred the same injury and he had surgery. I did not have surgery and his arm looks the same as mine. You'll do just fine. Good luck and hope you heal well.

    I thought that I was in the wrong website and looking at the restoration of a 1:1 vintage pro stocker. I have enough issues just gluing parts together let alone fabricating ultra - realistic replicas of components. Your level of craftsmanship is otherworldly! Congratulations on what you have accomplished so far!

    Very cool model and actual car! My first car was a 1966 Fairlane with a 289 and C4 automatic.

    I scored another AMT Challenger convertible on Ebay and used the doors, windshield frame and front fenders with the rocker and quarter panels from the original. The last photo is the new body with the original interior and frame. I left the protective sprue on the windshield frame for now to minimize the chance of accidental breakage.
