My first shipment from Scale Finishes showed up a couple of days ago. Also, today I picked up another bucket list Monogram kit at the model show in Fort Wayne.

Great looking build. As much as I like the paint job, I’d have to say I’m even more impressed with the weathering of the chassis. Very cool.

I’m thinking about picking up some paint from both companies, both lacquer and enamel and doing some testing. I noticed both companies also have a hardener for their enamels. That might be worth a look too. Thanks for your input Steve. Much appreciated.? I’m really looking forward to finally getting an airbrush back in my hands. It’s been a long time coming.

@StevenGuthmiller - I know you use MCW too. Do you have a preference? Just curious.

Point taken. Primarily I'm interested to see what you all use for painting bodies, but anything goes really. I'll be shooting the majority of the parts anyway., and probably only brush painting small details. That's what I did before we moved here. Thank you all for your input. Very much appreciated. I'm planning to start off trying out Scale Finishes. Looks like they have a huge selection, and I hear good things about their products.

Flea market find. Lots of tires, engines, and other miscellaneous stuff.

Nap time is wasted on children in school and should be allowed for working adults.
