  1. I built the factory stock version years ago. Good kit.?
  2. Tricky Dick was “not a crook”.
  3. Common areas in school were great places to meet chicks.
  4. My basement was really getting out of hand, so we got some shelving. This is phase one of two I think. After tax time, I order another set of four. About half of them are reserved for my stash, which is currently in boxes. I plan to set it all up like many others have done, so I can actually see what I’ve got. Really looking forward to having my own private hobby shop!?
  5. With that said, I’ll pass this on to the next poster.
  6. Sorta kinda does I think.?
  7. That’s absolutely beautiful. Excellent craftsmanship. Is this based on a kit? Or all scratch built?
  8. Nowadays it’s all about the inter-webs.
  9. Right turn, Clyde.
  10. Silly rabbit, tricks are for kid's.
  11. That’s gorgeous. I was just thinking yesterday that I should build a ‘40 for my dad. It’s one of his favorite cars. I think you just pushed me over the edge. Time to get busy!?
  12. There goes the neighborhood…
  13. Sea, I told you so!
  14. Excellent! That looks great.?
  15. Avoided conflict rarely comes to resolution.
  16. Rush was a phenomenal Canadian prog rock band.
  17. Along the way, let’s stop by the hobby shop.
  18. Oh my... where's my chainsaw? Is there photo etch available for this kit? Seriously, there's a part of me that would be tempted. @CabDriver - great idea for a thread. I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's suggestions. Some are really taking me back to the beginnings of my model building days.
  19. You have a real knack for rhyming.
  20. No offense taken at all. Your comment just provides an example of what I mean about the Monogram kit. It’s one of those models that you either love or hate.? It’s all nostalgia for me. I built a few as a kid and plan to do another over the next 1-2 years for comparison. And maybe relive a little of my youth.?
  21. Nothing is worse than not having a good sentence for this game.
  22. Behaved badly last time drunk I got.?
  23. Win the next point and the game is yours.
  24. My vote would be for just about any of the 70's era Monogram 1/24 scale car kits. Many of them are iconic and should be on this list. Some of the more iconic examples are the California Street Vette, any of their tri-five Chevys, and of course, the '69 Camaro. The Camaro in particular is a "must build" in my opinion. Everyone has an opinion about this one, both good and bad. No, it's not the most accurate representation, but it is definitely a fun kit to put together, and in recent years it seems to have overcome a lot of the negative hype surrounding it and is starting to be respected and loved for what it is. A great nostalgia build. Love it or hate it, just build it and see for yourself.
