  1. Totally bitchen, model, photos and all. Wow!
  2. Wow thats gold! I used silicon which was hard to control but that Loctite stuff looks better.
  3. Yea man, its looks 1:1 to me. Just perfect!
  4. Totally understood. I do as well however saved passwords are not in cache. The thing you do loose when clearing cache is the initial form fill but the browser will fill it and ask that you submit. Or somthing like that. In fact you can get a browser plugin that lets you edit your passwords database. I ran into an issue where a vendor site didn't program there login/password feilds correctly so i had to force a form auto fill.
  5. Dayam, almost missed this one. Thanks Tony.
  6. Browsers refresh there cache for performance reasons but not always on time. They are complex applications for sure. Its all about speed and since the internet is so bloated these days, browsers employ tricks etc to try and produce a pleasing surfing experiance. To me however its not always the case. Unsure which browser you are using but I have become VERY dismayed with FireFox, talk about bloatware.
  7. I wonder if PayPal can do anything for you? Total bummer man, total bummer. PS Back in my teen years, I had this problem with a company. My mom told me to look into the BBB which I did and they contacted the problem company. Things got resolved and it was at that point that I understood consumer rights etc...
  8. Clear your browser cache.
  9. Very cool site, clean, fast. to the point.
  10. Ah, good catch. Thanks Bill.
  11. Hi, I've pics of both the Leman Miniatures and Renaissance GT40 MKIV kits. In your opinions, which is a better looking kit? Lemans Miniatures; Renaissance;
  12. I've had simialr issues and called my Visa card issuer. They handled it no issues. The vendor stepped to and all was well. I'm sure Amex. Discover etc would as well. Don't fart around on this, get em!
  13. Dood, you did this in 3 days?!?! Dood! This would take me weeks!
  14. Shweet. yes I heard this about a spray paint, just wasn't sure which one, now I know.
  15. Awesome thanks man. I was worried!
  16. Hi, So I still have a few more coats to spray but must continue later. I'm using Tamiya lacquer cans, how long should I wait before spraying again as I won't be able to contnue until say end of day.
  17. Thanks dude. I'm pretty stoked to have saved it.
  18. I no longer wish to incur the wrath of my lovely wife.
  19. An advantage of air brushing over rattle cans. I don't have an air brush yet...
  20. I contacted VHT and there zinc chromate colored primer is a Alkyd Enamel formula. No zinc chromate compound at all.
  21. A little something I found by an Amazon reviewer of VHTs product; "VHT Prime Coat is a great line of primers by VHT that comes in multiple colors of which Yellow Zinc Chromate is one of the color choices. Although it is a very good description of the color, it contains no zinc chromate. VHT is not hiding this fact as has been suggested. You can go to the MSDS on the VHT website to see the list of ingredients for yourself. I would've given this product a higher star rating (because I have used VHT primer and have been very satisfied) but it irritates me that I had to dig so deep to find out it didn't have zinc chromate as an ingredient." So the VHT Prime Coat in Yellow Zinc Chromate color does not contain the highly toxic zinc chromate chemcial compound. I confirmed this by reading there MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). There site even suggests that its apllicable to most plastic surfaces.
  22. Curious, how long do the spray particulates stay suspenedd in air for? And what kind of fiters would be suitable for Zinc Chromate? Wikipedia had some interesting info on Zinc Chromate, kinda scary.
  23. Your mouth to gods ears. It would be a great seller just on this board alone.
  24. Ok, I'll stick with Tamiya white primer then.
  25. Great info. Curious, is it any more toxic then lacquer based paints?
