Nice layout. Don picked some good pics for the article. Not a lot of script, just captions for the pics. Looks good. Only one little thing that kinda bugs me ,, Right on the bottom right corner of the main pic is the script , , , "Model by Craig Stansfield" &%$##$^&*^$$#%^^

Bill, that looks so much better then the Revell kit body. I look at the kit body but I can't put my finger on exactly what's wrong with it. I think it's the roof ,, too flat or something. So, I have a couple of them and a couple of the Plymouth GTX sister kits with the same problem that I haven't built.

OK, so, Some of you who also watch the Spotlight board may have seen that one of the members there has "sent a note to Mobius customer service" and got a response. It's just an internet hoax. So, there you have it. NOT REAL. NO Mavericks of any sort being made by them. Seeing as it came from Fakebook , I'm not surprised. If someone on Facebook told me my name is Steve, I'd check my underware before believing it. and even then I'd wonder if it was someone elses underware I had on. ??

So, who is that response to, David, mine or Gerald's post? Anyway, here's a couple more pics with the wheels I'm using and the off-white on the roof and fenders. I also did the engine and engine bay with the HOK candy root beer. This thing is gonna take days to foil. ?

Looks great Issy. Definitely not something you see every day. BTW, IF you ever decide to add the factory "Trans Am" decals, Ray's kits decals can print you out a set in that scale. I know the hood bird was always a cost added option on those cars I've only seen a handfull without it.

Just not feeling the other projects I have on the go right now so I'm going back to this one. started it about 13 years ago. The HOK candy root beer paint should be cured enough to polish out. LOL. I'm using the engine and underhood section from an AMT '57 Chrysler 300 custom kit. I think I'll use the F.I> intake and finned valley cover from the AMT '53 Ford pickup kit on it though instead of the dual quads. The roof and section behind the headlights are now painted white and it's ready for polishing and foil. The wheels shown in these pics may not be the final choice, more pics soon.

I just taped mine up and sprayed it. Not exactly 100% accurate but looks fine to me.

Got an Airfix DC-9 from them last year. No problem, got here a couple days early in fact.

Other way around, Monty. It's an accurate '66 Olds 425 cid engine. Some of the kits did have CADILLAC script on the valve covers as it was shared ,along with the entire chassis with the Caddy Eldorado kits. Olds dissy in the back, Caddy in the front. The '70 Toro had a 455 engine but it was pretty well the same engine and looked mostly the same as the one in the kit.

Thanks Chad. The boots are the insulation stripped from some telephone wire. Just the right size to fit over the plug wire I use.
