  1. Pretty sweet. Great paint too. I've never heard of that resin company, did the bumpers come already plated?
  2. Sweet!. Look forward to seeing it in person at the next club meeting.
  3. Possibly? There was a series of these kits.
  4. Is it the MPC kit, Roger? I don't think the AMT one was ever reissued with the IMSA bodywork.
  5. OK, I see it says the van includes a set of Cragar SS wheels. Is it really that or just the crappy "kinda torque thrusts" that usually come in those van kits?
  6. I just looked for a pic, could have sworn I had a couple but no luck. It was brush painted in '76 Corvette red that I had left over after painting my first car that was truly mine, a '73 Buick Centurion coupe. [sprayed, not brushed. ?]
  7. I still have the one I built back then. Redid it in the early '80s . Due for another re-do but I painted it with Centari auto enamel last time that might be hard to remove.
  8. The Pacer was reissued a few years ago. The rest were only offered in '78 and maybe '79 so they're pretty hard to come by now..
  9. All car models are cool. But, It kinda depends what you're into. They did look pretty well how they're pictured. I was kinds disappointed that the engine and chassis were stock though. Here's a better pic from the '78 catalogue. Not included on this page was the "Monza SS" which was kinda a companion kit to the Mustang.
  10. I had the Gremlin, Matador and Mustang. Still have the Mat.
  11. Nope, definitely not.
  12. That's kinda how I did the louvers in the filler panel in front of the rad in the Limelighter I built. I started with flat rectangular stock cut to shape and just rounded down the front edge and sides with sandpaper after they were glued down solid.
  13. Watched "Batman - Hush" a couple days ago. Animated, of course. Funny how the WB animated movies are so much better than any of their live-action superhero movies. But, yea, pretty entertaining. Good story and the characters were well written.
  14. If you hover your cursor over Greg's icon, you'll see he hasn't been here for several months. You might do better to fire off an e-mail to him at the addy he posted above then waiting for an answer here.
  15. Humm, closed after 33 years. Wouldn't have expected that.
  16. Steve doesn't cast anything himself, he just resells them. If there's something you want it's best to e-mail and ask if he still has it. He has a very good reputation for excellent service.
  17. Also there's an excellent one in the '62 Thunderbird.
  18. They look like "G" in this ad. Looks like '57 Olds caps with the 6 bars added.
  19. The dead giveaway is usually your name doesn't appear on the e-mail at all, just the e-mail addy it was sent to. But if there's any doubt, contact whoever it's supposed to be from on your own, not using ANY contact info in the e-mail. ,, and yes, some of them are almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
  20. It's just the way they're painted, Dusty. If you look closely at the grille in the gold car, just under the gap between the Charger lettering and emblem, you can just make out the small horizontal bars in the grille. The silver paint on the vertical bars hides them well compared to the all black grille.
  21. Better yet, just paint the grille section flat black and just highlight the "Charger" script. It would hide the RT emblem behind a rectangular emblem [3 on that '70 photoetch sheet] and it would look pretty good.
