  1. I have the current reissues of the '67 911R and the '69 911S. I checked both and neither has a RHD dash. [or plated parts for that matter] I didn't check the original issue '73 911RS I have though.
  2. The new Revell kits have both right and left hand dashes in them.
  3. It's on the chrome tree. I don't think I've seen an AMT Chevy van kit that didn't have that stock grille in it. Even the A-Team GMC van kits has it.
  4. Those are the pics I was referring to above, Dan. It doesn't look too bad really but I doubt the swirl pattern on the hood would match up to the pattern on the top of the fenders and cowl panel.
  5. I think you did good David all things concidered. And I wouldn't worry too much about not sanding the seams off those slicks. A lot of slicks actually have a seam around the center just like that when they're new.
  6. It was white with light blue and a little dark brown/black in it. There's some pics of an unpainted kit on the new if you do a google image search.
  7. Monogram did this kit like that. IIRC, it wasn't very popular. The show wasn't either, cancelled after 13 episodes. The original Monkees were having a bit of renewed popularity at the time so I guess this was a cash grab by the TV producers.
  8. Well, he must have been paid for them at some point in time or they wouldn't be out there.
  9. I don't think you took any business away from Kris. Spotlight get them from Kris so he gets paid for them either way.
  10. You are an evil man.
  11. Try here Mike. loads of stuff to check out. you should be able to find something here. Klik on the book and a lot of them have a wright up of what it's about. https://www.fantasticfiction.com/genres/?gp=H
  12. Stop it, you're giving me ideas that I shouldn't have after the paint's finished. ? That would be a good color for the '29 delivery I started though. ?
  13. Nice non-answer. Seriously though. I'd like a strait answer please.
  14. The body? Tamiya gloss black spray ,, TS-14,IIRC.
  15. Same thing probably happened with the MPC '71 Impala convertible. The image in the brochure and the kit both have squared corners at the top of the windshield instead of the rounded corners like the real thing has.
  16. Modelhaus Tires casts the MPC Desert Dog tires.
  17. gary, Elm City Hobbies here in Fredericton sells Gofer Racing pre-wired distributors at $9cdn a peice but I have no idea what he'd charge for shipping all the way across to the other side of the country.
  18. The basic chassis is done and painted black. I did a little fabrication today. Made a simple recessed firewall to clear the engine. It's just roughed in right now, still need to clean up the edges before paint.
  19. OK, so, That USPS Pinto that's coming out, , If it's built exactly as shown on the box, does it go in the cars section or light commercial section? I's not a private civilian vehicle, it's a light commercial vehicle that was used by the US Postal Service. Shouldn't that go in light commercial?
  20. There's an unplaited set in the AMT Ford Phantom and surfer vans. Also a plated set in the "Firestones" Ford pickup but IIRC, there's no lug nuts on those ones. The '78 Bronco that was just released has a very similar set but with the Ford factory style centers on them.
  21. I love that one Steve. Those colors are incredible on that car. ???
  22. I'd say that's a '49, Gerald.
