Air cleaners, who makes any?
Roadrunner replied to Roadrunner's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I suspect I'll end up with multiple carbs, one way or another, so I don't think that'd work out for me. I'll certainly keep it in mind for future projects though, so thank you. -
There's got to be a way to mix & match. I''ll need to look into it.

If only they did it with full fenders,...

Great. Thank you very much. I had wondered about that. Thanks for the clarification. -

OK, thanks, a bunch fellas. I'm rather surprised at how much of this stuff I was unaware of. -

Air cleaners, who makes any?
Roadrunner replied to Roadrunner's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I'm not 100% sure yet, as I've not determined what sort of carb setup I'll eventually be using. Basically I was just wanting to know if anyone produced them at all, in any style that I could then choose from. Yes, after I posted my question, I did a web search and found quite a few. I actually like the look of the resin ones better. I know that Fireball makes some awesome carbs, but I've not seen air filters for any of them, at least not from Fireball themselves. -
I have a need for some air cleaners for a project that I'm currently working on. Does anyone make nice 1:24 or 1:25 air cleaners, resin or aluminum? Thanks a bunch, Kevin

Not a bad idea. Thanks, Tom. -

I couldn't agree more, Dave. I'm a mod on another site, and we're having the very same issues to contend with there. -
Duplicolor and LA’s Totally AWSOME??

Wow. Three or four seems to be my limit. -
"Holy Grail" Models?
Roadrunner replied to Billy Kingsley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Excellent, and thank you. The '27 Lincoln seems to go for peanuts on feepay, so I'll just (eventually) snatch one from there. -
Nope, definitely not me. I almost always include my age and location, and that guy has neither.

14 coats? Amazon sells it. -
As far as my records indicate, I'm not a member there. Do you have a link to the specific thread you're referring to? I'd be interested in reading it. I'm always up for some Skyraider chat.

"Holy Grail" Models?
Roadrunner replied to Billy Kingsley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Interesting to know. Thanks for that. There's something that just really appeals about the original Gangbusters cars though, they bring back such nice memories. -
I think you may be confusing me with someone else. Either that, or I'm losing my mind, which is also a distinct possibility.

"Holy Grail" Models?

The one on the right is one of those that I recall, yes, and thanks. I'll have to chase down one (or more) eventually. -
No, this would be the Tamiya or Academy 1:25 kits; close enough anyway. I don't think most folks would know the difference.

"Holy Grail" Models?

Not a grail kit so much as something I just really want, is one of the gangster cars that were done many, many moons ago; MPC maybe? I had one or two when I was a pup, and liked them a lot. -
What a guy. I think I have the 1:24 Jeep here somewhere too. I intend to eventually use it in a vignette of sorts, with an American soldier examining an abandoned German tank, perhaps a Jagdpanther or Tiger.
