  1. What theme (or themes) are you referring to, Bill? I don't see anything unusual in the announcement above.
  2. I hope to be there in October then.
  3. For now and the foreseeable future, I drive nothing at all. Both of my cars have been dragged off to the junkyard over the last two years, and I certainly can't afford another.
  4. I only saw it briefly as it passed through an intersection, but appeared to be an early 30s 3 or 5 window full fendered coupe. Very cool indeed.
  5. No kidding. I was thoroughly confused by the reorganization of things. I'll adapt though, for sure.
  6. No TV as such, but I did have a PC in my man cave, and will have again, once my new workbenches are complete this year sometime. I'll be transplanting the guts of the old PC into a new case this year, that will have more expansion capability, much better cooling and whatnot.
  7. A few kits there that I'd like to add to my own stash, Jeff. I'm duly envious.
  8. Thanks a bunch. I actually looks way better in person, just doesn't photograph well.
  9. And yet more spoon tests, this time Tamiya clear red over Testors diamond dust (on the left), and Tamiya clear red over Testors icy blue, on the right (almost a cranberry color now), both clear coated and polished. To be quite honest, I really like both very much and have now recorded them in my spreadsheet for future projects that are sure to come up. Thoughts?
  10. I wouldn't pay that much for the car itself, ugly as it it.
  11. No ads for me. I use two different blockers, as I just will not have ads, period.
  12. I'll be getting some of these, no question about it. They look just excellent.
  13. I just snatched this, the gorgeous '32 Ford five-window coupe. Gobs of great parts will be left over too, very handy stuff for other projects. I'll be building the full fendered version, as fenderless cars of this nature, are most definitely not my thing.
  14. I'd just scribe them in, then paint them.
  15. Two kits received in a trade arrangement with Modlbldr, and went smooth as silk. Thanks a bunch, Tom, I love them both.
  16. It looks like the buying/selling page is now defunct?
  17. It is indeed a wonderful reference, and is certainly prized by me.
  18. This just arrived today, a deal from a fellow forum member (different forum). Now I can finish/repair/rebuild the kit that I abandoned a few months back; too cool.
  19. Yep, Supertramp was awesome. I had four or five of their CD's, and loved them all.
  20. King Tiger; check. Led Zeppelin; check. Looks like you're all set to me.
  21. I'm willing to bet that the car deaths go up when this issue subsides somewhat; lots of morons will be partying hard to "make up for lost time", then driving like drunken idiots after.
  22. Least favorite: chassis' and engines Most favorite: painting the bodies and polishing them out.
