Thanks! Good to see that You also like this color combination. I used Tamiya TS sprays(orange metallic and light sand).

Yes...another 1969 Dodge Charger. But I decided to build it in a rare color combination (bronze metallic/tan vinyl top and sand interior). Hope You like it.

Thank You for your comments! Monty: Since I have been building model kits for many years now I have a large pile of all sorts of parts & tires. I remember that I took the tires for the rear wheels from another kit, but I can't remember from which oder which make they were. But I thought those bigger tires would give the car a nice stance. This is an AMT kit I have built a couple of years ago. In contrast to my actual builds I did not pay so much attention to the detailing o wheels and engine. I just took a few new pics this morning.

Here are the Mustangs I have built so far ... sorted by year and shown on the deck lid of my 2011 GT.

Thanks! Yes, it is good the AMT made the front wheels steerable, but as You noticed, they forgot to create the clearance from the tire to the back of the front fender wider.

Thank You very much guys! @Brian: the Color I used is actually "bright orange" (Tamiya TS-31) Ludwig

I can agree: Using BMF is a matter of regular practise. Learning by doing. Best regards Ludwig

Hi Jesus, I built the 68 Mustang Fastback - one of the best looking classic Mustangs in my opinion - three years ago. I use Tamiya colors only and as far as I can remember, I used the red color You named, but without clear coat. This is how mine came out:

Thank You guys! Harry: There are only tiny marks on the trunk lid which I covered up with paint, no need to fill them prior ro painting

A model kit of one of those big American "land yachts" of a bygone period ... the kit is a reissue of an older MPC-kit, not comparable to the precise new tooled kits of other manufacturers issued today. I decided to build the convertible bone stock in a nice color. This time I didn't build the engine, so the hood stays closed on the photos.

Thank You guys! I appreciate that You like the solid color paint and the mild modifications I applied to this station wagon.

I built this 56 Nomad slightly customized by adding some Edelbrock parts and installing a manual transmission. I also replaced the ww-tires by a set of wheels (Chevy's rallye wheels) taken from a 69 Nova and put on some chromed exhaust tubes. To give the car not the typical two tone 50s look, I deleted some of the emblems and painted it in one color only.

Thank You very much guys!

Thanks again for Your kind words! @ Harry P.: my name is Ludwig HANS, so please call me Ludwig.

Thank You very much, guys! I appreciate Your comments very much. Yes, it took some hours to get Pontiacs "Morrokide"-Interior (as it was named back in the day) done and also the detail work in the engine department. @ mrm (Michael): The steering wheel was a clear part in the box. After taking a Close look on photos of early 60s Pontiacs, I gave the middle sections of the wheel a touch up with Tamiyas clear red. Ludwig

Update Feb 22: Now the V8 is already in the engine bay and wired so far. Also the eight lug wheels, consisting of five parts each, have been detailed and put together. WW-rings by Moebius ...

I used a "home made" mixture of Testors white and blue for the engine. The interior will be painted according to the original color scheme matching the red exterior (red/white).

That's the 389 cui V-8 with the tri carb set up (work on the engine is in progress). I added a dip stick:

I startet off with the body which received several layers of "pure red" and "metallic red" (Tamiya) with a clear coat, rubbed out with "Meguiars" to get close to the original "Coronado red poly" which was available in 1961:

Thank You guys for Your kind words!

Thank You very much for Your positive comments! Carl: Yes, the redlines are decals which came with the kit. Ludwig
